The Annual Maintenance and Relay testing of 11kV feeders, and

incomers, is scheduled on 06.02.2023 and 08.02.23 with the schedule shown
below.

Substation, Aluva

The main gate of GIS substation is shared with Electrical Division, Aluva. Sanction
was obtained from the Chief Engineer, Distribution Central for providing new gate as shown in the
sketch enclosed herewith. The control of the said gate is performed by a security person from
Electrical Division, Aluva and the gate remain locked during Sunday holiday and night hours in all
working days.

A security cabin is provided near to the main gate from the GIS Substation and 24
hours security is also provided by Substation Subdivision, Aluva. Presently security staff is engaged
round the clock.

The Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, Aluva not willing to hand over the key
which denay the entry of vehicle and operating staff to the GIS Substation during night and
holidays. It is a bad practice, neither allowing to open the main gate nor handing over the spare
key to the security personal as you know in the case of a fire hazards emergency their will not be
any access to the substation. Sanction was given by the Chief Engineer, Distribution Central for
constructing new road and denaying the access by the Executive Engineer, Electrical Division, Aluva
is not a good practice. Hence it is requested that intervention in this matter is highly solicited.
