Together with the use of validated methods, proficiency testing is an essential tool of assuring the quality of the laboratory results, 1.2. Confidentiality All information submitted to EDA-PT program is kept strictly confidential and anonymous. In all reports issued by EDA- PT program, participants are referred to as “Lab XX”, where XX is a code number. Electronic communications conducted by official EDA email individually to each participant. 1.3. Subcontracting services “Subcontracted activities Homogeneity and sta for the HPLC scheme(CHHP111423) ity measurements 2. TEST MATERIALS 2.1. Preparation 21.1. For pH scheme + pH CRM buffer solution from ISO 17034:2016 certified supplier was used as PT samples; samples were packaged in strictly closed amber bottles labeled with the sample data and storage conditions without any pretreatment. 2.1.2. For HPLC scheme © Commercially available products “tablets” were used as PT samples, EDA-PT technical supervisor grinded carefully the commercial tablet until obi homogenous fine powder mixture. The test portions were labeled as “1a”, “1b”, “2a”, “2b” ete. where all (a) portions represented group A and all (b) portions represented group B ‘Note: all a& b portions are analysed randomly. ‘© Measurements were subcontracted to “physicochemical 1” laboratory within CADC. © Stability measurements were done on 3 selected finally packed samples at the end date of the round also transportation stability for one control sample was all done in duplicates, ‘© All measurements were conducted at repeatability conditions. ¢ EDA-PT statistician performed the study and data showed sufficient homogeneity and stability, 2.3. Despateh 23.1. For pH scheme ‘The Despatch date was on 05/11/2023. Test materials were sent to 6 participants for pH Scheme. 2.3.2. For HPLC scheme ‘The Despatch date was on 06/11/2023. Test materials were sent to 14 participants for Assay by HPLC Scheme. 3. RESULTS ‘The instructions for reporting results were as follows: 3.1. For pH scheme ‘© Results shall be reported as pH unit, 2 decimal places. ‘© Reporting of uncertainty was optional. Calculation of the Assigned Value, Xx 4.1.1. For the pH scheme ‘¢ Assigned values were derived from CRM value, 4.1.2. For the HPLC scheme Assigned values were derived from consensus value from the participant results. i 4.2. Standard Deviation for Proficiency Testing, opt 4.2.1. For pH scheme + The ox was taken from the repeatability and reproducibility standard deviations from a | previous collaborative study of precision of a measurement method based on ISO/ IEC 13528 clause 8.5*perception of experts” 42.2, For HPLC scheme Standard uncertainty for the PT scheme is derived from the general model based on the Horwitz Equation modified by Thompson based on ISO 13528:2022(E) 4.3. Evaluation of assigned value uncertainty 43.1. For pH scheme ‘* Uncertainty was taken from the COA of the buffer 43.2. For HPLC scheme * Uncertainty is calculated by using robust standard deviation ISO 13528:2022 clause 7.7.7 F where; S* is the robust standard deviation and P is the no. of participants UKpt)=1.25.
