The first thing that distinguishes a business letter from a business email is that a business
letter is generally considered to be hard copy, and the business email is a soft copy also
known as an electronic message.
Normally, for a business letter after you write it, you need to print it and then seal it in the
envelope and then courier it to your respondent. You need to do it manually.
Whereas for email, all you need to do is to write it, and get the email address and send it
directly to your respondent via electronic parcel like gmail, yahoo and others.
