4. Why is measurement important in our daily lives ?

Measurements are the foundation of our ability to understand, communicate and
navigate the physical world, and they are essentially in various aspects of daily
life, from cooking to healthcare to transportation.

5. What kinds of things do you and your family measure?

We measure the time. To keep track of our daily activities.

6. Why learn measurement uncertainty? Explain and provide one example.

Measurements cannot be compared in the absence of uncertainty. A common example
is the measurement of a string. If you give three separate persons a piece of string and
ask them to measure it with no more instructions.
