Binzhou Medical University (BMU) is a Government University located in Yantai City of Shandong

Province. Yantai is famous throught China for a particular variety of apple and Laiyang pear.

Medical School of Shandong University originally established in 1946, The Medical School
became independent as Qingdao Medical College in March 1956, it took on its current name
Binzhou Medical University in September 1983.

BMU has combined multiple disciplines of medicine, science, engineering, management and
education.
BMU has over 17,793 full-time students, including over 15,538 undergraduates and junior
college students as well as 1,919 postgraduates.
