Pre-Install site inspection & Installation


Elite Elevators's Project Manager will schedule and

Warranty and Maintenance:

TK Elevators comes with 1 year warranty against any manufacturing defect. We also Provide 1 year free
service from the date of installation or 60 days from the date of delivery, whichever is earlier.

We will provide 2 routine services during the one year Free of Charge.

SITE READY DEFINITION FORM

Elite Elevators Home elevator lifts, unlike large passenger lifts, are designed to be installed into completed
or near completed areas. All required building work in, or adjacent to, the lift area must be completed prior
to the commencement of the lift installation. Elite Elevators would be pleased to answer any queries that
may arise in relation to these prerequisite works.

Below is a definitive site ready definition listing all details, which must be completed prior to our installation
enabling pre-start inspection. If any points cannot be completed before the advised ready date, please
contact us to discuss alternative dates immediately. This will allow Elite Elevators to reschedule other
installations to better accommodate your needs. If an installation team arrives on site and cannot continue
with the pre-start inspection or lift installation because the building work does not meet our site ready
definition or drawings, Elite Elevators may not be able to guarantee an alternative date at short notice and
will result in Elite Elevators charging for the aborted visit.

Please ensure you read this form thoroughly before you sign and return.

1. Upper, lower and any intermediate floor levels to all lift areas must be completed by you. These must be
in accordance with specified drawing dimensions and tolerances.

2. All building works required for the lift installation must be completed and within the dimensions and
tolerances specified in the drawings and pre-installation manuals by you. Any additional works carried out
on site after approval of lift drawings that affect or conflict the installation of the lift have to be rectified by
yourself or your builder at your cost.

3. Correct door heights must be provided and completed by you as per the approved drawings,
measurements for door heights must be taken from presumed finished floor level and door openings all to
be made in accordance with measurements on approved drawings.

4. Lifts over 2.5m travel must have a certified lifting beam provided by you. Where lifting beams are
impractical additional suitably qualified labor is to be provided by you.

5. Scaffolding is to be provided when necessary by the customer. The engineers who attend a pre site visit
will confirm when scaffolding is required and a member of the Elite Elevators team will then contact you
with the requirements needed, but please note the scaffold must then be provided prior to the install date.

6. Storage of the lift must be provided by the customer at their expense (i.e. container, garage etc.), the
engineer will discuss this with the site contact when attending a pre site visit.

7. If a pit is required, it must be of the correct depth, size and to be square which you should provide
adhering to the approved drawings and taking into account floor finishes. Where the pit is outside it must
have adequate drainage provided by you.

8. The flanking walls/shaft and openings must be square, perpendicular and made to a finished state by
you. Painting and plastering may not be possible once the lift is installed.

9. Any ceilings or other overhead works in and around the lift area as may be required must be completed
by you prior to the lift installation commencing for e.g. fire and /or smoke alarms etc.

10. The lift isolator and permanent power supply must be completely installed, tested and working by you.
It must also conform to the correct specification as stated in the drawings. You should have stabilized
power as per our specification without which we are unable to commission the lift. Therefore a revisit
would be required as per point No. 15.

11. A dedicated telephone line should be provided and must be completely installed, tested and working
by yourselves. We supply only one handset, which is located in the cabin.

12. An electrical supply for power tools is to be provided without charge, for the duration of the lift
installation.

13. The lift area must be made clean & clear of all other trades including any waste by you. The removal of
waste from site e.g. lift packaging is to be made by you i.e. skip to be provided.

14. Adequate lighting must be made available by you in and around the lift area and all other routes.

15. In the event of the pre-start inspection having an unsatisfactory outcome a further inspection may be
required, the scheduled installation being aborted a re-visit required to complete, commission or handover
the lift, Elite Elevators reserve the right to charge a minimum of Rs. 10,000/- to cover costs incurred to do
this. Any outstanding balance must be paid prior to any re-visit. Please note that a re-schedule or re-visit
may take up to 4 weeks to be re-planned.

16. Unloading of Materials to be done without opening the package.

17. Filling of Gap between the lift shaft and wall or door entrance and lift door is customer scope.

18. In case of outdoor installation, Proper protection or covering has to be provided by customer.

19. Cladding work (fixing of tiles/marbles) at the door entrance should not be carried out before
installation.

20. This contract is subject to our General Terms and Conditions Subjected to Chennai Jurisdiction only.

Please be aware that all lift drawings / specifications / dimensions are to be checked thoroughly by you
before drawing approval. Once your lift is placed into production, any changes (if it is possible to do so)
will be at cost to you and may cause delays.

Terms & Conditions

1. GENERAL 1.2.12. Services means activities and services necessary to manufacture
