Having a comprehensive
safety system in place means

machine safety standards.
One of our new developments
includes a new feature for the
mandrel wheel safety doors.
Here safety and comfort is
combined.
In the case of an emergency
shutdown through pressing
the emergency stop button or
when the door switch sends
a signal, the filling machine
stops immediately

Designed with the operator
safety in mind
The safety door positioned
on the operator side of the
mandrel wheel, was not previ-
ously included in the emergency
stop circuit, as it was fixed with
bolts.
These bolts can now be
replaced by a safety switch,
which is then included in the
emergency stop circuit.
The main drive stops immedi-
atly when the door is opened
during production.
So too, monitoring of the
mandrel wheel door ensures
that the safety of the operator
is improved.
With just a little effort, we
can improve the safety of
your filler extremely quickly;
either during cleaning or other
routine stops and without the
need to change any software.
This new feature from SIG
includes a conversion kit
containing a handle, detector,
locking magnets and associat-
ed fastening material, as well
as detailed rework drawings.
