Document 4: The Enigma of the Bermuda Triangle

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is an area in the western part of the North
Atlantic Ocean where numerous ships and aircraft have allegedly disappeared under mysterious
circumstances. The triangle's boundaries are usually defined by connecting points in Miami, Bermuda,
and Puerto Rico, forming a triangular shape. Over the years, numerous theories have been proposed to
explain the disappearances, ranging from paranormal activities and extraterrestrial interventions to
natural phenomena such as magnetic anomalies and methane hydrate releases. While many of the
incidents reported in the Bermuda Triangle can be attributed to human error, storms, or other common
causes, the enduring enigma surrounding this region continues to captivate the public's imagination and
fuel speculation.
