II. Program Background and Rationale


Rationale

As stipulated in Memorandum DM-OUHROD-2024-0037, the


department’s continuous pursuit of excellence in providing quality professional
development programs for teachers and school leaders, mandates the conduct of
In-Service Training (INSET) for teachers on January 24-26 and 29-30 as
stipulated in DepEd Order No. 22, s. 2023 titled Implementing Guidelines on the
School Calendar and Activities for the School Year 2023-2024.

On the first day of the five-day mid-year break will be spent to evaluate the
school’s progress attained in the implementation of the educational programs,
projects, and activities (PPAs) as well as to assess/review the performance of
teachers and the school staff in order to address concerns through collaborative
effort. The next two days will be a District Rollout on Comprehensive Sexuality
(CSE) Integration in the Curriculum, Workshop on the Lesson Exemplars, and
Orientation of Project Rise. A preparation for teachers’ Instructional
Materials(IMs) and activities for the teachers’ continued professional
development which will be a division initiated activities will happen on the last
three days.

III. Activity Description

This is an In-Service Training (INSET) on Assessment/Program


Implementation Review and District Rollout on Comprehensive Sexuality (CSE)
Integration in the Curriculum, Workshop on the Lesson Exemplars, and
Orientation of Project Rise for Dait Sur Elementary School and Cluster teaching
and non-teaching personnel. This shall be conducted on January 24-26, 29-
30,2024 at Dait Sur Elementary School, Dait Sur, Inabanga, Bohol.

IV. Target Participants Description

The target participants for this activity are the 15 teachers and 1 school principal
of Dait Sur Elementary School and Cluster.

V. Objectives

The participants will be able to review and assess the implementation of


educational programs, projects, and activities of Dait Sur Elementary School and
Cluster. They are also expected to perform activities that complement their professional
development.
