NARRATIVE REPORT
GIRL SCOUT OF THE PHILIPPINES SCHOOL – BASED SIMULTANEOUS ENCAMPMENT
December 17 – 18, 2022

INTRODUCTION

Scouting is one of the activities as customarily observe, implemented yearly in all year level. It aims to
enhance the talents, skills, develop values formation significantly to help our young girls to be fully
upright citizens in the society. Furthermore, scouting provides a program of activities for young girls
which are fun, challenging and at the same time will develop into a well – rounded individuals and useful
person in this challenging world.

The PATAWAG NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL Girl Scouts joined the School – based simultaneous
encampment last December 17 – 18, 2022 with the theme:” THE GIRL’S VISION: A SUSTAINABLE WORLD
FOR ALL”. The participants of this encampment were participated by registered members of the Girl
Scouts of the Philippines.

In this encampment activities, it was participated with 16 registered learners of different grade level.
The encampment was held at Patawag National High School campus. Their mission are wanted to join
an enthusiasm for learning to a personalized community of the scout leaders and those taught. The
planning concept that this encampment would not be imposed by the leadership but would arise from
the students independent activity supported by the school and Girl Scout of the Philippines. It also foster
a greater school spirit, and wok toward a grasp of the image of a true Senior scout.

The activities during the encampment are the following: Knot tying, lashing, gadget – making, and
Coastal clean up drive. Obstacle game also created to have a good rapport with the group and learn
how to show their confidence and at the same time develop their sportsmanship. The participants also
learn how to prepare their own food.

DAY 1

A. Settling our scouter’s camp

Our scouter’s sets their portable camp. We have two troops: The Daisy Patrol and Rose Patrol

B. Opening Ceremony
To officially start the said activities, the opening ceremony program was started at exactly 9:00 in the
morning. It was started with the Pambansang awit through the Multimedia presentation, followed by
Opening prayer intended for the scouting. Next, the Girl Scout Law and Promise. And then, singing and
dancing the GSP song :WE CHANGE THE WORLD”. And of course my welcome message, orientation for
the said activities. Lastly, the presentation of each patrol with their yells.

C. SERIES OF ACTIVITIES…….
The activities that were undertakes by our Girls scouts are as follows: the knot tying, lashing and gadget
making. The patrol who first to finished the said activities, received the ribbon and certificates.
The girls also was able to cooked and prepared their foods for their meals.
