Trinity bible church (Baptist church)

Founder or Foundress

The founder of this church is Pastor Felecito Panag Jr. he also was the one that established the
church here in Talisay.

Local Origin in the specific place.

The local origin of this church is in Katipunan St. Cebu City.

The church was established in the year of 1992 in Talisay City.

•Facts about the Church and Unique from others.

Basically, they believe that the only authority faith and practice and to follow is in the bible.
And they only have one pastor that teach to their church and they don't believe that women
“pastora” could teach and be the leader of their church. And to teach that people should
confess and submitted their selves to what they called baptized water baptism, Pastor de

He still the first and the current Pastor Felecito Panag Jr. as for today.
•Milestone/Accomplishment

The accomplishments of the church are to face every trial and challenge that they face
including the people that discrimination about the church, no proper place to teach the
gospel of God and the lack of financial for their church but with faith throughout the years
their church grows and be able to reach out the people and to continue preaching the gospel
of God.

to evangelize people, forgive their sins and be saved through Christ.


The Seventh Day Adventist on Dos Hermanas
The Seventh Day Adventist on Dos Hermanas which located in Purok Kapayas was founded by
Epifania Berdin Alfon and currently headed by Edmon Alejo,it was established on December
23,2003 but first it was founded by Ellen Gould White together with her co-founder namely
Joseph Bates, James White, and J. N. Andrews The denomination grew out of the Millerite
movement in the United States during the mid-19th century and it was formally established in
May 21, 1863.The Seventh-day Adventist Church is an Adventist Protestant Christian
denomination which is distinguished by its observance of Saturday, the seventh day of the
week in the Christian (Gregorian) and the Hebrew calendar, as the Sabbath, its emphasis on
the imminent Second Coming (advent) of Jesus Christ. The milestone of the church was it first
started as chapel until it became a church and it grows until it has four branches going to five
that’s located in different places in Talisay City such as: Conception, Tagho, Pantayanan and
Tambara. They also have hospital in Bacolod which is the Adventist Medical Center, school in
Murcia namely Central Philippines Adventist College (CPAC) and also Mountain View
Adventist College. They also follow what’s written on the Bible Leviticus 11:7 “And the swine,
though he divides the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he
is unclean to you. 8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they
are unclean to you.”Their mission is to spread the word of God until the second coming of
Jesus Christ and their vision states that all people should know the truth and bring them to
God before His second coming.
The Kapawa Christian Community Church
The Kapawa Christian Community Church was established during the summer of 2005. It was
founded by Pastor Arnold Laurella & Teresa Laurella. It is a Indipendent Local church and a
children’s ministry. The present pastor is pastor Malvar Magbanua and Nisa Magbanua. The
address of the church is located in Hda. librada, brgy. conception. One of the goals of the
church is not just spiritual but also teaching children literacy and also character building.
People in there also wanted to to make desciple in all ages. Basically, Quality more than
Quantity. One of their milestones is the Cooperation of members of the church and also,
allowing people to help the church.

Concepcion Evangelical Christian Church


The Concepcion Evangelical Christian Church was founded in the early 1900s, or nearly 95
years ago. It was Baptised by Bacolod Evangelical Church. It is also the Product of Missionary
works. The trademark of the churchs is it is under by the convention. Under the CBBC
(Convention Bible Baptist College). The product of the church is a Product of pastors that had
graduated, and outreaches (7 daughter churches). It has also different branches such as Anita,
Cabacahan, Cabug, Ambulong, Tunangan, Paet and Tunangan, Catamnan. Basically, the goal
of the church is to connect to the people within the community. It also ontributes to the
livelihood of the families in the community. The points of the message of the interviewee is
that there is someone who is waiting for the youth which is Jesus and everything is
meaningless without God.

Conception Fundamental Baptist Church


In England, the Conception Fundamental Baptist Church was founded. because Catholics
founded this church after divorcing the Catholic faith. It is located in Sitio Acacia, Hda. librada,
Brgy. conception. Their theme is Living with a purpose. It is from Talisay fundamental Baptist
church. During the 3rd week of December of 2006. The goals of the church is soul winning,
bible study and to build relationships.

James the Greater


The name of the Church is St. James the Greater, Franciscan order chaplaincy church in the
Diocese of Bacolod located in Had. Manaul Talisay City, Negros Occidental. It is the exact
replica of St. James Church in Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina, which became popularly
known around the world for the apparition of Mary, the mother of Jesus, to six Herzegovinian
Croat teenagers in 1981.The local devotion has sprout around the globe but even of that
popularity the universal church has not officially announce the propagation of the said
apparition but rather they allow a personal and private devotion. The story behind this when
the lay faithful Tony Montinola and his wife came in Europe and saw the devotion of the said
apparition, they were so inspired and touch by their devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary also
by the grace of holy spirit and after they returned in the Philippines, they par sell a land for
the construction of St. James the greater church in order to promulgate and extend their
devotion to the Blessed Mother and our lady of Medjugorje to the Catholic faithful. The Saint
James the Greater Church was formally open to the public on September 8, 2022 in relation
to the celebration of the Solemnity of the Immaculate conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary
was presided and dedicated by The Bishop of Bacolod Most Rev. Patricio Buzon, S.D.B., D.D.
and other concelebrating priest and together with catholic lay faithful. Officially turnover
under the jurisdiction and care of the order of Franciscan Minor of St. Francis of Assisi. Under
the supervision of Rev Fr. Dante Barcelona OFM as the first chaplain priest in charge to cater
the spiritual welfare and needs of the people on the said hacienda under the San Nicolas de
Tolentino Parish. It is unique among others because this church It is the first and only replica
of the Medjugorje church in the Philippines and in the whole world, based on research
conducted by photographer David Brass. The donors replicated every detail of the church in
Medjugorje, from the facade, its dimensions, the tabernacle, colored windows, statues and
church pews also the bishop of Bacolod suggested to add the trinitarian cross at the center of
the altar. The milestone and accomplishment of the Church, for the reason that this Church is
being built in honor to the Our Lady of Medjugorje also it is a testament and devotion of the
faithful donors to the Catholic Church together with the Diocese of Bacolod and to all Marian
Devotees and pilgrims. The Mission of St. James the Greater Church is to promote the
devotion of Our Lady of Medjugorje by the catering the spiritual welfare of the lay faithful and
also to introduce the Franciscan order in the Diocese of Bacolod to contribute to the divine
works of the Church. The Vision of the Church is to transform the community into a living
church where there is an active participation and contribution of both the faithful and clergy
in promoting the catholic faith in the community.
