This article brilliantly investigates and outlines the expected long-term impacts and
consequences prevailed by Covid-19 on our societies. The most concerning result is that this
health crisis is anticipated to negatively worsen both inequalities among people and lead to social
deprivation, which is really catastrophic. All the samples and evidence chosen carefully to
demonstrate that this crisis will result in difficulties for most of us. When it comes it consuming,
studies showed that customer expenditure decreased sharply, which in turn, affected all societies
worldwide. What’s more, fear found its way among people and that was due to the sever
lockdowns imposed by governments and by the decline all economies experienced leading to
Personally, this article is so informative to the extent that it shows not only societal impacts
of Corona-virus, but also includes clarifications and information related to what has happened to
economies around the globe. Besides, it addresses both individual and collective problems
caused by lockdowns, including financial crisis for most of the poor who are still perplexed
whether to go out for earning money to manage life basics, or to stay home and protect the health
of everybody in their families. An interesting part of this article is that it shows light at the end of
the tunnel by mentioning optimism and hope after all. However, I do believe that the impacts
caused by Covid-19 over societies around the globe are not to vanish so quickly; in other words,
there are other unnoticed consequences popping up every now and then which is a scary sign
showing that not all about this novel virus has been fully yet discovered, and that scientists and
specialised doctors are yet to encounter the most difficult scenario on economies and societies,
