HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY AND PATHOPHYSIOLOGY
Introduction
The reproductive systems play essential roles in the development of the structural and
functional differences between males and females, influence human behavior, and produce
offspring. However, a reproductive system, unlike other organ systems, is not necessary for the
survival of an individual human.
Objectives
1. To introduce Human Anatomy and Physiology, to define and use for examining and be
able to illustrate specific structure.
2. To define terms needed for the topic.
3. To understand the functions, capabilities and overview of female and male reproductive
system including its other supporting tissues
4. To understand different examination and screening tests done for human reproductive
system
Activity
1. Student must be able to read and understand first the topic under the official
reference, Seely’s Essentials of Anatomy and Physiology
2. Student must be able to define the said questions using their own perspective.
3. Student must draw/write legibly and accurately.
4. Avoid using .com as point of reference.
Questions to Answer:
1. Where, specifically, are sperm cells produced in the testes? Describe the process of
