This Project mainly focus on producing electricity using renewable sources which are abundantly available
in nature. In this project we use solar energy from sun for irrigation. To water using solar power, consider
a solar-powered irrigation system. This typically involves solar panels to generate electricity, which then
powers a water pump. The pump can draw water from a source like a well or a reservoir and distribute it
to your plants. It's an eco-friendly and sustainable way to ensure your garden gets the water it needs.
Solar-powered irrigation systems are a great way to harness the sun's energy to water plants. These systems
typically consist of solar panels that capture sunlight and convert it into electricity. The electricity is then
used to power pumps or sprinklers, providing water to the plants. It's an eco-friendly and cost-effective
way to water your garden or crops.
The components used are: Solar panel, DC Water pump and jumper wires.
The solar panel is the main component of this project. The nominal power of a solar module is expressed
in peak wattage (Wp). The wattage of solar panels depends on the requirement and the motors used. In
India, solar PV arrays having a capacity in the range of 200W to 5kWp are recommended by the
government.
