SPOT QUOTATION NOTICE
As per the Sanction accorded by Hon’ble D.M.C. (Z-II) under no.
MDF/1511 Dt.11/07/2023, Spot Quotations are invited in sealed cover from the competent and MCGM Registered Demolition Contractor for the Demolition of the C-1 Category Dilapidated Building, Disposal of debris beyond Municipal Limits & Salvage of usable material of building known as Nita Co-op Hsg. Society Ltd. situated at CS No. 843 of Worli Division, Dr. A. Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai: 400 018, on NO PROFIT NO LOSS BASIS. The contractor may recover the compensation for demolition of building and disposal of building material through the salvage material recovered from the demolition of building. The building comprises of (G + 5 floors) Ground floor plus five storied RCC frame structure. This spot quotation is hereby published for Demolition of the C-1 Category Dilapidated Building, Disposal of debris beyond Municipal Limits & Salvage of usable material of building. Therefore the interested contractors are informed to visit the building known as Nita Co-op. Hsg. Society Ltd., situated at above said address & make himself thoroughly acquainted with the local site condition, nature & requirement of the work, facilities for transport, requirement of men & machinery, space for storage salvaged material & removal of debris. The successful contractor will not be entitled for any payment/ compensation for the Demolition of C-1 Category Dilapidated building, Disposal of debris or any claim/ compensation for difficulties faced or losses incurred on account of site condition. The scope of the work is to demolish the building completely up to ground level, Disposal of debris beyond Municipal limit, Salvage material and handing over vacant site/plot to B.M.C. in neat and clean condition. The blank Quotation Forms will be available with Head Clerk (Expenditure) G/South Ward on any working day from 21/07/2023 to 26/07/2023 between 11:00 am to 04:00 pm on payment of Rs. 220/- + 18% GST towards form fees.
Successful bidder shall follow the conditions mentioned below, 1. Bidder who offers maximum amount to BMC against demolition of entire building, disposal of debris beyond Municipal limit, salvage of serviceable material shall be treated as a successful bidder. 2. The prospective/ successful bidder shall have adequate experience of similar works in last 03 years and shall produce the evidence of the same along with Quotation. 3. Successful bidder shall have to deposit amount of Rs. 10,00,000/- towards Security Deposit in B.M.C. 4. The serviceable material (salvage items) of building will not be permitted to be shifted from site unless debris of said building is removed from site and site is cleaned. 5. Successful bidder will have to make their own arrangements for getting the electric supply on site for fabrication and allied works at their own cost. 6. The Successful bidder shall comply with the provision of all labour laws/ legislation. 7. The Successful bidder shall submit an indemnity bond on the stamp paper of Rs. 500/-, wherein he shall indemnify that no any litigation in this case shall be filed by contractor, BMC shall not be party of any litigation if arises. The successful bidder shall borne the cost of any litigation if arised. 8. The disposal of debris & salvage of serviceable material shall be completed within 60 days from the receipt of the work order. 9. The Successful bidder shall take photographs of the work site before commencing the work, during execution and after completion of work as directed and submit the same in this office alongwith a report mentioning the progress of work.. 10. Designated Officer/ Executive Engineer (B & F) G/South Ward reserves all rights to accept or reject any or all the Spot Quotation without assigning any reason whatsoever. 11. The Successful bidder shall obtain all required/ statutory permissions for disposal of debris and other activities as and when required from the various competent authorities of BMC and other departments.
12. The rabbit/ debris / unserviceable dismantled waste material shall be disposed beyond Municipal limits by successful bidder at his own risk and cost. 13. The successful bidder shall make all the necessary arrangements to maintain the noise level within the permissible limit during the demolition and disposal of debris & salvage material as per the notifications issued by the MOEF. 14. The successful bidder shall make all the necessary arrangements like sprinkling of water, provision of cloth shall be made to avoid the nuisance of dust in the neighborhoods. 15. The quotation shall remain valid at least 120 days from the date of submission of quotation. 16. The disposal of debris & salvage material work shall be carried out under the strict supervision of registered structural engineer appointed by the successful bidder at his own cost. 17. The successful bidder shall ensure that all the service utilities like electricity, gas, internet, water supply & sanitary/ sewer are disconnected before commencement of demolition of building. 18. The disposal of debris & salvage material work expected to be carried out with adequate machinery / equipments / man power etc. so as to complete the same within specified time period. 19. The successful bidder shall provide adequate propping, barricading and other safety measures including safety gears to the workmen at his own cost in order to safe guard the adjoining structure / property / human lives. Failing which if any untoward incident takes place then it will be sole responsibility of the successful bidder. 20. The contractor shall conform to the provision of all local bye laws & acts relating to the demolition work & to the regulations etc. of the Government & Local authorities. 21. The successful bidder shall provide barricading to entire plot boundaries using Galvanized Sheets before start of the work and shall be kept till the completion of the work. 22. Successful bidder shall take all safety measures laid down by BMC & NBCC manual. Successful bidder shall be responsible for any accident/ injury / death to the workmen/ any other individual-
pedestrians, animals or any other damages to the surrounding properties. Any prospective bidder who fulfills / agrees the above said conditions may obtain the blank quotation forms from the office of Head Clerk (Expenditure) G/South Ward on any working day from 21/07/2023 to 26/07/2023 between 11:00 am to 04:00 pm on payment of Rs. 220/- + 18% GST towards form fees.
