Public transport holds the major part in every government economy.If Citizens are taking
benefit out of it and can help the country to develop.Indirectly,it can help to survive the
environment.Making public transportation free just because it can reduce traffic congestion. I
totally disagree with this statement because making public transportation service free would
harm the country's economy in the first place.

To begin with, Every nation's 25% annual revenue comes from the public transport tickets
and passes and this money helps the government to maintain their buses,trains and other
works.maor part is government employees salaries who are working in these public sector.If
government stops collecting this money it will become heavy burden on economy to balance
expenses. Free transportation can be done in various ways.For instance, in Delhi(India)
state government made public buses rides free for particularly women to empower women
movement, this positively affected the great revolution in women empowerment but did not
help in road congestion.

To add more, If public transportation is made free, it can harm the government properties
such as carelessness while travelling, sabotage the seats and walles of trains indirectly
promotes more crimes.These effect are so violent that it can make government think twice
to accept this free policies in future.Additionally, Not all people travel through public transport
some of them take their private vehicles out for work purpose. Road congestion remains the
same even if there are such rules because there are many other reasons for road
connections like Road conditions, weather ,potholes etc.

To conclude,I think that making public transportation free is not the only way to make roads
free from traffic congestion. In fact it can harm the government negatively.
