1 Safety Instruction
1.1 Intended Application
BX Pull Cord Switch is used for emergency
stop conveying equipment. It comply
with industrial safety regulations, which
requires safety device can instantly stop
conveyor in order to secure personal
safety.
Applications other than specified and
unauthorized modifications to the device
or its components may lead to injury to
persons and damage to the device for
which the manufacturer is not liable.
Any work performed with the device or
on the device must be carried out in
accordance with User Manual.

 3 Designs and Function

BX Pull cord switches are use on conveyor systems as emergency power off switches
for continuous conveyors.
The devices are designed for long term service in extreme environmental conditions.

3.1 BX5700 Design

Release lever① is at vertical position

when no active. When the cord is
pulled, release lever , due to the

3.3 BX5900 Design

5900 type is equipped visual indicator by

means of red plate.
Release lever① is at vertical position
when no active. When the cord is pulled,
release lever① inclines (Max75°). Visual 图：3-2

will return to original vertical position。
There are two high quality
micro-switches⑥ inside the device. Due
to the factory setting, release lever①
inclines 20°, the cam⑤ will turn and trig
the micro-switches.

3.4 Function
The pull cord switch release lever① is operated by a pull cord③ which is mounted
along the conveyor system. The length of the pull rope③ is dependent upon the
locality but should not be longer than 30 meters.

STOP Danger: After activating and before resetting the pull cord switch the system
must be checked along the total length of the release wire, in order to
determine the reason for activating of the pull rope switch.

 5 Mounting and Dismounting
5.1 Scope of Delivery
Pull cord switches are delivered ready for
operation and without accessories.
The cable enclosure header must be
locked for delivery.
5.2 Mounting
5.2.1 Important Mounting Pointers
By all means the pointers given below
are to be considered during the
mounting to ensure correct operation

5.2.3 Mounting

5.3 Dismounting

5.4 Adjustment
The pull cord switch has been adjusted

Regularly check the pull cord switch
(normally once in 3 months). Ensure it
perform well and in good conditions
