HOW TO SET UP FIBA 2K23 - GUIDE BY @shuajota

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. In case you have previously installed mods, make sure to delete
your current Mods folder and NBA2K_Hook folder before
proceeding with the installation of FIBA 2K23. Download the
ARTWORK and drag and drop all its content: Mods and
NBA2K_Hook folders plus dinput8.dll and NBA2K_Hook.dll files into:

steam / steamapps / common / NBA 2K23

IMPORTANT NOTE:
FIBA 2K23 is an update of the PCBasket 2K23 project, so if you want
to play the complete mod with NBA and EuroLeague teams, make
sure you have PCBasket 2K23 previously installed, which you can
find here. If, on the other hand, you already have the mod installed
or simply want to play only with the FIBA teams, proceed to follow
these instructions:
2. Once you copied the ARTWORK in the correct place, you have to
launch NBA 2K23. You should see a window like this:

Click on "Initialize" to make sure the hook works correctly and the
game won´t crash.
 3. In-game, you have to search the ONLINE ROSTER, In the main menu,
press on "FEATURES" / "CREATE ROSTER" / "NBA" / "USER-
CREATED ROSTER"

4. Press on "SEARCH" (4) on your keyboard or (Y) if you use a XBOX

controller. Press on "SEARCH BY USERNAME" and type SHUAJOTA.
Select the roster uploaded under the name FIBA 2K23. Once you
load the roster, press “ESCAPE” to press on “SAVE ROSTER”. Now
you have a copy of the roster. When you go to “PLAY NOW” or
“MYLEAGUE” you have to load it manually.

ROSTER here.

5. In “PLAY NOW”, FIBA TEAMS replace the ALL-TIME NBA TEAMS. So

to select them in “PLAY NOW” you have to change the Team
category with “LB” or “RT” on your controller.

6. If you want to play a “MYLEAGUE”, in the main menu press on

“MYLEAGUE” / “MYLEAGUE” / “SELECT ROSTER” / Click on the
Roster that you saved previously or you can search it online.
7. Once you load it, make sure it says “PCBASKET 2K23” below.

8. Now, you have to press on “CUSTOM LEAGUE” / “START IN

REGULAR SEASON”. In “CUSTOMIZE LEAGUE”, you can add the
FIBA teams replacing the NBA teams with “LT” or “RT”.
