II. Call to order

The meeting was called to order at 3:30 PM at RMDU 4a Mess Hall, Camp Vicente Lim,
Brgy Mayapa Canlubang, Calamba, Laguna.

PCOL GERALDINE L. ADANGLAO, C, RMDU presided the meeting of which the

following agenda/concerns were discussed.

Critique of Laguna PHT of the recently concluded EMPOw raised their concerns on
having poor internet connection, people clog at the encoding of data section, and last two
EMPOw was given only one day except for the 4th Quarter EMPOw

Quezon PHT reiterated that scheduled time should be strictly followed and be informed
if there is a cut off time as per previous EMPOw’s concluded. List of participants must be
submitted to the PHT weeks before the scheduled date.

Batangas PHT raised their concern about P2 still being included in the list of EMPOw.
The list must be forwarded to the PHT 2-3 weeks prior to the scheduled date for them to
have an ample amount of time to prepare. Asking for clarifications as well regarding if the
participants need to have their recent lab results prior to the next scheduled visit.

Rizal PHT expressed that they have limited manpower to help with the EMPOw activity.
The said PHT also suggested that APE should be done before conducting EMPOw for them
to have their lab results before the next visit. They also suggested that more doctors should
be present to assist for the said activity. Rizal PHT also requested for additional printers to
help in printing documents for the next visit.

Cavite PHT’s concern is to advise them ahead of time for them to prepare for their
logistical needs. Also requested for the activation of their MRMS accounts to help for the
future EMPOw visits in printing Blank forms.

 Overall recommendation was to provide 6 Laptops, Tables and chairs specifically for
rizal to help accommodate the participants, and to strictly follow the scheduled time. No
scheduled visit for holidays and Mondays as Flag raising is observed on that day which will
delay the start of the activity. Tablets of the medical officers to be utilized on the next
EMPOw visits to help in encoding data into the MRMS system. EMPOw blank forms should
be printed weeks ahead before the scheduled visit. Coordination with the PHTs is to be
observed at all times during EMPOw visits.

PMAJ MARIO JOMAR P LASCANO cited the awardees of dentures to be given by the
dental section to selected EMPOw participants. Also expressed the need for Antibiotics to
be given to the examined personnel which he observed that Periodontitis is prevalent in
most of the personnel they have checked.

PCPT ANTONETTE ALINO of NP section reiterated the use of the DOH lusog isip app
to be downloaded by personnel to help them in monitoring those who consulted them for
their service.

PLT NARISA GUMOLDA on medicine dispensing raised that there were two PHTs that
were shorthanded of Atorvastatin medicines and the said lacking will be given to the
respective PHTs for them to distribute it to the personnel who were shorthanded of the said
medicine.

GUIDANCE
PLTCOL ADANGLAO expressed her final guidance on the 4th quarter EMPOw and
reminded of the present personnel to correct the mistakes that have been made and
provide the logistical needs prior to the next EMPOw visits.
