Terms & Conditions:

1. Mobilization: Client to issue an official Purchase Order upon approval of the quotation.
2. Payment: Full payment has to be settled at the time of releasing the reports. For the Credit facilities, if payment is
not done on time as mutually agreed, GCSMT will have right to stop submitting reports until payment issue
resolved.
3. Value Added Tax (VAT): An amount equivalent to the mandatory percentage of the total invoice value
representing VAT will be applied
4. Validity : Validity of our cost proposal is 90 days from date of this Proposal.
5. Exclusion: The quoted rates for field tests are applicable only within our office normal working hours (7:00 AM
to 12:00 NN and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM during weekdays & 7:00-12:00 NN during Thursday). In case fieldwork is
required outside regular working hours, additional SR 20 per hour will be charged.
6. Site Access: client is completely responsible in facilitating the application and eventual issuance of the necessary
access permits/IDs’ for GCSMT personnel, equipment and vehicle to enable our field crew gain an access to the
project location at no absolute cost to GCSMT.
7. Advance Notice: Client should give an advance notice, at least 24 hours, for site testing and/or sampling for an
on-call basis option.
8. Toxic & Hazardous Materials: It will be client’s obligation to voluntarily present GCSMT with sufficient
information readily available in his possession or knowledge on matters pertaining to the potential presence of
toxic or hazardous materials at the project site being investigated.
9. Warranty: GCSMT hereby extend its warranty that our services will be conducted in a manner consistent with
the level of case and skill ordinarily exercised by member of the profession currently practicing under similar
conditions. No other implied warranty is included or intended in our proposal.
10. Liability: For any unforeseen damage/s occurred on the account of human error, unintentional omission and other
professional negligence, we herein signify that our liability to compensate this unforeseen damage/s will be
limited to a sum not exceeding our fees charged form this particular undertaking.
11. Records: All pertinent records relating to testing services performed herein under shall be retained for a period of
not more than five (5) consecutive years after completion of work. Client shall have an access to the records, at all
reasonable times, during the mentioned period.
12. Reporting: Test reports shall be submitted within 1 week after completion of the test, as per the relevant test
standard and as per agreed payment condition.
13. Proper Storage and Disposal of Samples: Samples submitted to our laboratory for necessary testing services
will be discarded immediately after 30 days from the submission of our written report. Upon an official request,
we will be delivering the samples in accordance with the client’s instruction with corresponding charges or store
the sample/s longer than the specified period for an agreed fee.
14. Scaffoldings & Power supply: Necessary scaffolding and Power Supply of 110/220 volts will be provided by
client (in case necessary).
15. Propriety Information: “Propriety Information” Client request for Quotation in form of hard copy, digital, oral,
electronic to be treated as restricted and confidential in nature. Gulf Consult will not be disclosed to any Third
Party without Client consent.
16. Decision Rule: a). Decision Rule shall be implemented to determine the conformity of test result.
b). Decision rule shall take measurement uncertainty into account.
c). Decision rule shall be agreed with the customer before starting the test.
d). Decision rule shall be implemented when required.
e). Decision Rule Adopted: when the Test Result + the value of expanded uncertainty is
within the limits of the test, then the result is considered Pass. IF Test Result + the value of
expanded uncertainty is fully or partially outside the test limits, then the result is considered
Fail.
