Enterprise Environmental Factors

Enterprise Environmental Factors (EEF) refers to the external and internal factors

influencing the success of a project. These internal and external factors are specific to different

organizations and affect the planning, execution, and control stages of a project. Some EEFs

influencing the project include organizational culture, organizational structure, governance

frameworks, stakeholder influence, market conditions, political climate, social climate, available

resources, and industry standards and regulations. Internal factors include those that the company

can control and regulate to minimize any possible negative impacts. They may include

organizational culture, organizational structure, and available resources. The other factors are

external, and the organization may be unable to control them. However, close monitoring of

these factors allows the company to find ways of minimizing possible risks.
