The invention of smart machines has had a significant impact on how we function. My foray into
computer science began in primary school when I learnt a programming language, which I
subsequently applied to introductory programming. My interest in computer programming started
through a casual encounter with my cousin, an IT expert, while I was still in high school. He noticed
my interest in computers and introduced me to various programming languages. Although difficult
initially, I quickly picked up C, C++, and others. When I started an undergraduate program, I was
familiar with other programming languages such as Python.

Slowly in the due course of my Bachelor’s, I realized that my proficiency in handling information and
people as a leader created an affinity towards Information Systems which actually bridges the gap
between technology and people with the information processed, which in a way inspired me to Pursue
Master’s in Information Systems.

I have been deeply interested in computers since I was a child. I taught myself to program in high
school and became proficient at it. In high school, I gave a seminar on computer software and
hardware and received huge appreciation and applause from my principal, teachers, and friends. This
interest further led me to major in Master’s Information Systems during my undergraduate studies.

Thus, after completing my undergraduate studies and gaining work experience through internships
and a job, I wish to broaden my knowledge and acquire skills in new technologies and methods
developed in computer science. I had a great time learning about programming concepts and systems
analysis. This training enabled me to become proficient in C, C++, Java, Python, MySQL, HTML,
and CSS. I excelled in programming, operating systems, computer networks, computer graphics, and
embedded computers during my bachelor's degree in computer science engineering. Besides this, I
also availed the certification on Custom Prediction Routine on Google AI Platform through Coursera,
Developed a company website with WIX, and built custom regional reports with Google Analytics.

I obtained hands-on experience with industrial projects in addition to my usual curriculum. For my
major project, I chose to work on the Prediction of Lung Cancer using Machine Learning under the
mentorship of Prof. Shilpa Sudheendran. Here we used two algorithms, Naive Bayes Classification
and Neural Networks, to predict lung cancer. Our primary objective was to develop a model that
indicates whether the person has lung cancer or not. We also developed a Blogger's Website for our
mini project using Java, HTML, and Javascript. We created an interface that shows the most recent
content followed by the previously updated content.

Now, I want to learn more about Information Systems and use this knowledge to improve my chances
of a lucrative career in the software industry. With a keen desire to work on the latest web
technologies, I seek to take advantage of the abundance of opportunities that allows the combination
of these technologies with one's creative instincts. I aim to work in the R&D division of any such
company soon after my studies. To gain more clarity and focus on my career goals in the long run, I
have decided to pursue a Master's program that can act as a bridge between my past and future and
thus help me make more concrete decisions. A Master's degree in Information Systems will not only
open doors to new opportunities but will also allow me to design my path to success. I want to use my
skills as an Information Systems Specialist in reputed companies. And I am confident that there is no
better place than your University to provide me with superior skills, experience, and expertise to make
all of this a reality.

My choice of the United States of America as my study destination is based on sound reasoning. It
promotes innovation, rationalism, and strategic thinking, and its standing in the world's school
rankings. I believe it is the greatest option because it is at the forefront of technical innovation and is
well-known for emerging Information Systems practices.

I wish to gain further specialized knowledge of this area of study and contribute to research at
UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO DENVER. The Information Systems program will help me achieve the
useful knowledge and skills to steer towards a successful career and fulfill my research aspirations.
The department website shows a highly qualified and certified faculty involved in crucial subjects
such as analysis, teamwork, leadership, project management, customer service, and underlying
business theories and modern age technologies like advanced cloud computing, network protection,
security analytics, and cloud security, which align with my core interests. I desire to work under the
guidance of the elite professors of the University. My long-term goal is to eventually play a strategic
role in an organization in executing the core business with an integrated technology in India after
completing my coursework.

Hence, I conclude that I believe that the admission committee will surely consider my profile for this
elite program because I can be a true asset to the University. I commit to doing everything in my
capacity to become original in my way.
