We would like to keep you informed about the important dates in the Academic Year 2024-2025
to ensure a smooth and efficient year ahead. The Indian High Group of Schools believe that
outstanding attendance and punctuality is a requisite in enabling students to make the most out
of their learning opportunities. We expect all students to achieve 98% or better attendance.
Students who are recurrently late or absent from school, fall behind leading to learning gaps. We
want you to be cognizant that this will impact their progress and promotion to the next grade.

Commencement of New Academic Year Grades 6 to 12 Monday 1st April 2024

Commencement of New Academic Year Grade 5 Tuesday 2nd April 2024
Commencement of Summer Vacation Monday 1st July 2024
Re-opening of the school after Summer Vacation Monday 26th August 2024
Commencement of Winter Vacation Monday 16thDecember2024
Re-opening after Winter Vacation Monday 6th January 2025
Last working day for students (End of the academic year) Friday 14th March 2025
Please note:

 Learners of grades 10 and 12 must attend summer classes from Monday, 12 to Friday, 16 August
2024 (online) and Monday, 19 to Friday, 23 August 2024 (on campus).

 Winter classes will be scheduled for grades 10 and 12 from Monday, 16 to Saturday,
21 December 2024 (on campus).
