Dear Student,
I am pleased to inform you that you have been offered admission in Form ……………….. Stream……………….…...as a
boarder/day scholar(cross one) in our school. If you accept this offer, pay commitment fee of Kshs 3,000 on
collection of the admission letter. The remaining balance of fees will be paid on or before the reporting date.
You are expected to report on 15th Jan 2024 by 8:00 a.m. If you fail to report to school by 17th Jan 2024
then your chance will be given to another student. You must have the following documents and items
which will be physically checked and verified by the school authorities, when reporting:

2. 2 passport size photograph of Parent, child and relative allowed to visit ( No Photo Me) in digital
format (JPEG)
3. A file containing Birth certificate, KCPE Result slip and school leaving certificate.

5. An amount sufficient to buy the attached supplementary learning materials and uniforms.

NOTE:
1.0 All cheques must be made in favour of FRIENDS SCHOOL GIANCHERE SECONDARY. No
personal cheque and cash will be accepted.
2.0 Remedial fees will be paid at Kshs 1000 per term
3.0 Students doing Home science ,drawing and design and computer studies will also pay Kshs 1000
per term
4.0 Development Fund of Kshs 2,000 will be paid in term One
5.0 Payments via Paybill if allowed. Use Pay Bill No 400222 Account No. 0166213#students name and
admission number as one word.
6.0 Fees should be cleared before admission.
7.0 Fees paid are not refundable under any circumstances.
8.0 Fees must be deposited in the school bank account held at COOPERATIVE BANK, KISII, Account
No. 01120016621300. Clearly indicate the three names of the child, form and admission number.
9.0 A 10% fee penalty will be charged on all late fee payments. Late fee payments include any balances
outstanding after the child has been admitted.

6.0 SCHOOL RULES AND REGULATIONS.
The following principles guide the school rules and regulations.
 The principle of honesty and integrity when dealing with other students and staff.
 The principle of timeliness and punctuality
 The principle of human dignity and self-discipline based on common sense. Hence.
1.0 You MUST attend all classes’ preps and games as contained in the daily school routine and
timetable . Any failure to attend will lead to suspension for two weeks.
2.0 You MUST also attempt all examinations ,assessments , exercises , home assignments , failure to
which will lead to suspension . No examination irregularities will be tolerated . Lack of academic
progress will result in expulsion.
3.0 You MUST not involve yourself in immoral and illicit relationships . Evidence of such behavious
will lead to expulsion.
4.0 You MUST not involve yourself in alcohol and drugs /substance abuse.
5.0 Any damage incurred due to mismanagement of properties or causing loss of property will be
indemnified by the parent or Guardian at twice the cost of the damage or loss.
6.0 You will participate in making the school clean and tidy .
7.0 Absolute silence will be observed in all the learning environments.
8.0 Evidence of good personal grooming and hygiene will be checked frequently . Any unhygienic
conduct will lead to suspension for TWO days.
9.0 You MUST, be in full school uniform at all times . Games kits will be used during games and
sports.
10.0 You MUST wash your hands and sanitize at all times when called upon. Evidence of adherence to
the health protocol will from time to time be checked.
11.0 No mobile phones and other electronic data transmission gadgets are allowed in school. Those
found with mobile phones and equipment will be suspended immediately for two weeks.
12.0 No long hair, headscarf’s, will be allowed . All hairs must be kept short.
13.0 No student will leave the school compound without the official leave out sheet from the teacher on
duty, senior teacher, Deputy Principal or Principal . Any student who breaks this rule expels
himself/herself automatically.
14.0 All communication to or from Parents will be done through the school administration. Evidence of
outside communication will lead to suspension.
15.0 You MUST follow the instructions given by the members of the student council , staff and teachers
at all times. Any failure to follow instructions will result in warning and suspension pending
expulsion by the Principal Secretary, Ministry of Education
16.0 All communications MUST be in English of Kiswahili. Mother tongue speaking is not allowed .
Anybody found culpable will be sent home to buy TWO Local readers.
17.0 All cases of sickness MUST be reported to the teacher on duty and matron immediately. Any delay
will compromise the treatment required. All treatment costs that are not covered by the NEMIS
eduafya Insurance will be met by the parent.
18.0 Students are only allowed to attend the funeral of members of the nuclear family. All cases of
bereavement will be reported to the school authority FIRST.
