for a 3N/4D Holiday!’*

 This Consumer Promo Scheme (hereinafter “Scheme”) will be valid from 15th October 2023

to 31st December 2023 till 12.00 a.m. (both days inclusive) in all States on the terms and

conditions stated hereunder:

A) This Scheme will apply only on the Products (as defined and more particularly enumerated under

Clause 8 of the Terms and Conditions of this Scheme) manufactured by Godrej & Boyce

Manufacturing Company Limited (“Godrej”). The Scheme can be availed only for Products

purchased at Godrej’s authorized channel partners, including its dealers, retail outlets and COCO

stores.

B) This Scheme is valid for Products purchased from www.shop.godrejsecure.com

C) This Scheme is not valid on any accessories or Products other than those mentioned in Clause 8 of

the terms and conditions.

D) Scheme Structure and Procedures

i) On purchase of any of the Products, the Participating Consumer (as defined in the terms and

conditions herein) will be eligible for a chance to win a trip for two members to Kashmir for a

period of three (3) nights and four (4) days holiday in accordance with the Scheme’s terms and

conditions.

ii) The chance to win the trip will be based on a lucky draw done through random selection at the

Godrej and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., Head Office, Mumbai, save and except in the case of Participating

Consumers (as defined in the Scheme terms and conditions) in the state of Tamil Nadu.

iii) In Tamil Nadu, the winners of a best slogan contest (“Slogan Contest”) shall be awarded the trip.

The slogan format is –

iv) The slogan will need to be filled up by the customer on the following link

(https://www.godrej.com/godrej-locks-and-security-solutions/festive-scheme-2023-tn). The

slogans will be judged and the winners decided by a neutral third party set of judges at Godrej

and Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., Head Office, Mumbai.

v) To participate in the lucky draw; customers may upload the invoice for the Product purchased on

the following link (https://www.godrej.com/godrej-locks-and-security-solutions/festive-

scheme-2023).

vi) For participants in the state of Tamil Nadu, such participants may upload the invoice for the

Product purchased on the following link https://www.godrej.com/godrej-locks-and-security-

solutions/festive-scheme-2023-tn to participate in the Slogan Contest.

vii) The customer will have to fill up details and upload their invoice/ slogan on a landing page. The

retail outlets and COCO stores Sales team shall assist the customer in filling and uploading the

same.

viii) The details required on the landing page are as follows for the lucky Draw:

● Product purchased
● Price of product
● Customer Name
● Contact Number of customers
● Email id of the customer
● Name of outlet
● Upload the invoice
● City
● Pincode

ix) The details required on the landing page are as follows for the Slogan Contest (Only in the state

of Tamil Nadu):

● Slogan: Share your experience with us in less than a 100 words “Godrej Security Solutions makes
my life safe and secure because……….”
● Product purchased
● Price of product
● Customer Name
● Contact Number of customers
● Email id of the customer
● Name of outlet
● Upload the invoice
● City
 ● Pincode

x) Retail outlets shall inform the customers about the process of participating in the lucky draw or

slogan Contest and shall be equipped with posters and other relevant materials relating to the

Scheme for this purpose.

vii) The online entries of Participating Consumers will be received by a backend programming center

and a report of the entries would be sent to the HO IMC Team and Marketing team on a daily basis.

viii) In the event of any queries regarding the status of the Scheme/process to participate/ result; a

central number has been provided for queries from customer. The working hours for the same

will be Monday to Saturday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm. The customers can contact +91 98677 42616,

to receive assistance with any queries that they may have in relation to the Scheme.

E) Lucky Draw Process

i) In order for the lucky draw/ Slogan contest to take place, a minimum of 500 entries should have been

collected within the Territory of the Scheme.

ii) To participate in the lucky draw/Slogan Contest; the consumer must follow the process mentioned in

Section D.

iii) There will be three (3) winners announced for the trip to KASHMIR based on a random draw

conducted at Godrej’s registered office address in Mumbai. The random draw shall be made from the

pool of participants whose invoices are received online. The slogans will be judged and the winners

decided by a neutral 3rd party set of judges at registered office address in Mumbai. The lucky draw

and slogan contest judging shall be conducted on 10th January, 2024 and the results shall be announced

immediately after the winners are identified. The results of the lucky draw and slogan shall be

published on Godrej’s company website (https://www.godrej.com/godrej-locks-and-security-

solutions/Home-Security)

iv) The winners of the Scheme will be contacted on e-mail and on the phone number provided by the

participants. The winners of the Scheme shall acknowledge the e-mail or the phone calls received from
 the Godrej representatives within a period of 14 days. Decision of Godrej Security Solutions shall be

final in this regard and no correspondences shall be entertained thereafter.

v) The three (3) lucky winners will have to present the actual invoice copy received in mail confirmation

during participation (If registered through Online Portal) along with their identity proof to claim their

prize.

vi) Every winner must mandatorily provide their Pan Card and Aadhar Card Details as per section 194B,

IT rules. These proofs shall be maintained by Godrej’s HO marketing communication team for future

audit purposes.

vii) The company will bear the TDS for the “Fly to KASHMIR” gift voucher. The customer will not bear any

tax for the gift voucher.

F) Details of the trip to KASHMIR:

I. The winner of the Scheme shall be entitled to a gift certificate which shall be valid for two (2) persons,
including the winner and any other person at the winner’s sole discretion and option. The gift
certificate shall be valid until the 31st of March, 2024. The contents of the reward given to the winner
shall include an economy-class air ticket, hotel stay for a period of three (3) nights and four (4) days,
including breakfast and dinner for the duration of the hotel stay. The details of the hotel and room shall
be decided at the sole discretion of Godrej. Except as expressly specified in the foregoing, the reward
given to the winner does not include any other benefits or offers. No additional payments, expenses or
costs shall be borne by Godrej except as expressly provided herein.

II. The departures will take place only from the Customer’s city’s Airport. The Customer would have to
make their own travel arrangements to reach the city Airport for departure.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This Consumer Promo Scheme (hereinafter “Scheme”) will be valid from 15th October 2023
to 31st December, 2023 till 12.00 a.m. (both days inclusive) in the territory of all States on
the terms and conditions stated hereunder:

1. The Scheme is valid only on the purchase of the Products enumerated under Clause 8 sold
through retail outlets across the territory of India. Customers who wish to participate in the
Scheme should follow the procedure set out in Point (iv/v/vi) of section D.

2. This Scheme is a voluntary Scheme made by Godrej. Participating in the Scheme will not have
effect directly or indirectly on the maximum retail price (“MRP”) of any Products purchased by
Participating Consumer. The MRP paid by a Participating Consumer for any Product will be the
sole consideration for the sale of such Product.
 3. For the purposes of this Scheme, “Eligible Consumer” shall mean any customer of the Godrej
Products in possession of a valid invoice of the same, and “Participating Consumer” or
“Customer” shall mean those Eligible Consumers who participate in the Scheme by following the
procedure laid out in Section D of the Scheme terms.

4. This Scheme is valid on Products purchased by Eligible Consumers between 15th October 2023
to 31st December, 2023 till 12.00 a.m. and both dates included (“Scheme Period”).

5. This Scheme is valid except where prohibited by law. This Scheme is valid across the territory of
India (the “Territory”), in each state. Only Eligible Consumers that are resident in all states and
who purchase the Products from outlets located in all States shall be eligible to participate in the
Offer. Participation by individuals below 18 years of age shall not be allowed.

6. The Scheme shall be void if prohibited by law and Godrej shall not be liable to give any prize in
such situation.

7. By participating in this Scheme, the Participating Consumers agree to have read all the terms and
conditions mentioned herein and are in agreement with all the terms and conditions mentioned.

8. The Scheme is valid upon purchasing any of the following Products mentioned below:

9. There will be three lucky winners from the Scheme which will be based on a lucky draw held at
Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd Security Solutions Division, Plant No. 17, Pirojshanagar, Vikhroli,
Mumbai - 400 079. The slogans will be judged and the winners decided by a neutral third party
set of judges at registered office address in Mumbai. The lucky draw and slogan contest will take
place on 10th January 2024 and the results will be announced immediately after the winners are
identified. The results of the lucky draw shall be published on Godrej’s company website
(https://www.godrej.com/godrej-locks-and-security-solutions/Home-Security).

10. In order for the lucky draw to take place, a minimum of 500 entries should have been received
with valid invoices within the Territory.

11. The retailers will inform the Participating Consumers about the process of participating in the
lucky draw.
12. To participate in Scheme, the Participating Consumer shall participate through either of the
following process:

• To participate in the lucky draw: The Participating Consumer has to upload the invoice
pertaining to the purchase of the Product on (URL: link (https://www.godrej.com/godrej-
locks-and-security-solutions/festive-scheme-2023).

• To participate in the slogan contest (Only for The State of Tamil Nadu); viz. The consumers
can upload the invoice for the Product purchased on the following link
https://www.godrej.com/godrej-locks-and-security-solutions/festive-scheme-2023-tn.

13. The winners of the Scheme will be contacted on e-mail and on the phone number provided by
the participants. The winners of the Scheme shall acknowledge the e-mail or the phone calls
received from the Godrej representatives within a period of 14 days. Decision of Godrejshall be
final in this regard and no correspondences shall be entertained thereafter.

14. This Scheme is not valid on purchase of any Products from e commerce portals.

15. This Scheme is not valid on any of the accessories* of Godrej.

16. The winners will be awarded with gift certificates for trip to Kashmir, the details of which are
more particularly provided in Clause 29 of these terms.

17. The lucky winners will have to present the actual invoice copy in mail confirmation during
participation along with their identity /residential proof to claim their prize. The winners will
be required to sign receipts, affidavits, indemnity, agreements and/or documents as required by
Godrej at the time of delivery of prizes.

18. Every winner must mandatorily provide their Pan Card or Aadhar Card details for necessary
verifications and shall also provide a photocopy of the same to Godrej for audit purposes failing
which Godrej reserves the right to forfeit the prize to the winner.

19. In case of any queries regarding the status of the Scheme / result; Participating Consumer can
contact +91 98677 42616. The working hours for the same will be Monday to Saturday 9:30 am
to 6:30 pm.

20. The closing date of the Scheme can be extended at the sole discretion of Godrej.

21. This Scheme cannot be clubbed with any other prevailing promotions and Schemes. The Scheme
offer and prize cannot be redeemed for cash or for any other item and is non-transferable.

22. This Scheme is not valid for electronic security solutions, institutional customers & commercial
segment products.
23. This Scheme is not valid for employees of Godrej or their relatives as defined under the
Companies Act, 2013.

24. The pictures shown in the advertisements are indicative and for representative purposes only.

25. The Scheme is applicable only for the citizens of India and in order to participate the individual
shall be 18 years or above.

26. Neither the Company nor the dealer from whom the relevant Product has been purchased shall
be responsible for any cost, expense or other liability whatsoever in relation to, arising from, or
connected with the collection of the prize by any Participating Consumer.

27. The Company reserves the right to modify, cancel, extend, or discontinue the Scheme, or any part
thereof, without ascribing any reason and without any requirement for any prior notice to the
eligible Customers. Any such modification, cancellation, extension or discontinuance of the Offer
will be notified to the public through its website https://www.godrej.com/godrej-locks-and-
security-solutions/Home-Security

28. By participating in the Offer, each Participating Consumer hereby irrevocably and
unconditionally consents to the terms and conditions of the Scheme.

29. DETAILS FOR THE TRIP TO KASHMIR: The winner of the Scheme shall be entitled to a gift
certificate which shall be valid for two (2) persons, including the winner and any other person
at the winner’s sole discretion and option. The gift certificate shall be valid until the 31st of
March, 2024. The contents of the reward given to the winner shall include an economy-class air
ticket, hotel stay for a period of three (3) nights and four (4) days, including breakfast and dinner
for the duration of the hotel stay. The details of the hotel and room shall be decided at the sole
discretion of Godrej. Except as expressly specified in the foregoing, the reward given to the
winner does not include any other benefits or offers. No additional payments, expenses or costs
shall be borne by Godrej except as expressly provided herein.

30. Godrej’s liability shall not exceed the cost of the Product purchased by the Participating
Consumer. Any liability incurred by the Participating Consumer while availing the prize shall be
completely borne by the Participating Consumer. The Participating Consumer shall be liable for
taking any travel insurance etc. that may be required for undertaking the travel benefits of the
prize.

31. In the event that the customer/winner is unable to board the flight or is unable to travel on the
scheduled flight date, the company shall not be held responsible, and the flight ticket will not be
transferable to any other individual or date.

32. Any modification required in the package/ Hotel stay / food etc. should be done by the customer
directly with travel partner. The cost for any changes/ modifications/ deviations from the
itinerary finalized by Godrej must be borne by the consumer.
33. By participating in this Scheme, each Customer agrees to follow these Terms and Conditions and
to be bound by any decisions made by Godrej in its sole discretion, including any interpretations
of the terms and conditions.

34. Godrej including their divisions, affiliates and subsidiaries, and their respective agents and
representatives, owners, distributors, and advertising/promotion agencies, are not responsible
for any loss of entries for any reason whatsoever including, due to any problems caused by
network lines, computer systems, internet service providers, delivery failure of entries sent
through post or for Entries received after the deadline as a consequence of computer service
delays, interruptions, failures, malfunctions or overloads, or for lost, misdirected or misplaced
entries. Entries are void if unreadable, inaccurate, and incomplete, damaged, tampered with,
falsified, irregular in any way or otherwise not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

35. Mere participation in the lucky draw/ Slogan Contest does not entitle the Customer to win the
Prize. Any applicable taxes shall be borne by Godrej or the Participating Consumer as the case
maybe.

36. The prize is not transferable, assignable, or exchangeable. The prize cannot be negotiated or
refunded, and by no means will cash equivalent be given. The winner, but no other person or
agent, can claim the Prize.

37. Godrej is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the terms and conditions contained
herein. All information provided is on "As is" basis without warranty of any kind. Godrej makes
no representations and disclaims all express, implied warranties of any kind to the Customers
and/or any third party including, without limitation, warranties as to accuracy, timelines,
completeness, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose.

38. Godrej shall not be responsible for any defects, loss, bodily harm or any other liability arising out
of the prize distributed to winners under this Scheme. Godrej shall not be liable for any loss or
damage due to act of god, governmental actions, other force majeure circumstances and shall not
be liable to pay any amount as compensation or otherwise for any such loss. Under no
circumstance, unless due to willful misconduct or gross negligence, shall Godrej and/or their
directors, employees, officers, affiliates or subsidiaries, be liable to the Customers and/or any
third party for any lost profits or lost opportunity, indirect, special, consequential, incidental, or
punitive damages whatsoever.

39. The decisions of Godrej and its representatives regarding running/process/results of the
promotion, data selection shall be final and binding on all Customers of this Scheme No
complaints will be entertained in this regard.

40. All disputes with respect to this Scheme are subject to the laws of India. The courts of Mumbai
shall have exclusive jurisdiction for all matters arising out of this Scheme. Godrej disclaims any/
all liabilities, cost and expenses whatsoever may arise in relation to any dispute thereto.
41. By participating in this Scheme, the Customer acknowledges and accepts the above terms and

conditions and represents that it has properly studied, construed and understood the modalities,

mechanism and legal provisions in connection with the Scheme.
