3 yudxGOOD MORNING TO ALL ABM STUDENTS OUT THERE!!!!

lets discus THE

IMPORTANCE OF MECHANICS IN WRITTEN TEXT. but first what do you think is writing?
well let's answer that question Writing may be defined as any conventional system of marks or
signs that represents the utterances of a language. Writing renders language visible. It's the fuel
that drives communication, and communication serves as a framework for society. Clear
communication—and hence, good writing—is critical because it facilitates coworker
collaborations, business transactions and interpersonal interactions. AND NOW WHAT IS THE
IMPORTANCE OF MECHANICS IN WRITTEN TEXT? The term mechanics in the English
language refers to all the technical rules that make up grammar and syntax. It covers aspects of
language such as word order, punctuation, capitalization, and spelling.Mechanics are the
conventions or rules that govern written language, including. Capitalization. Parts of Speech.
Parts of a Sentence. Punctuation.

BUT WHAT DO YOU THINK IS THE REASON WHY MECHANICS IS IMPORTANT TO

WRITING A TEXT? Writing mechanics make a piece of text precise and correct. It brings an
alignment in the content. Also, it focuses on correcting the spelling, punctuations, sentence
structure, and everything that's wrong. These are the writing rules that every writer must follow
while preparing reports.Writing mechanics are as important as grammar in written language.
They make sense of the words and give additional information. It is important to choose the
correct punctuation, spelling, logic, and words, as there is only one chance to convey the
meaning in written communication

and now let's discuss the 4 important things in written text that has been mentioned earlier first
is CAPITALIZATION. what do you think is CAPITALIZATION? well CAPITALIZATION is
the process of capitalizing words—making their first letter a capital letter (an uppercase letter). It
can also refer to the state of being capitalized. For example, to capitalize the word polish (which
is here spelled with a lowercase p), you would write it as Polish. and also Capitalization rules
play an important part in making writing effective and clear. It is important to capitalize certain
words, so readers can recognize how important the words are and can recognize a possible
change in meaning. Proper nouns, the pronoun I, acronyms, and major words in a title should be
capitalized.

And now let's move on to another word PUNCTUATION. Punctuation is the tool that allows us
to organize our thoughts and make it easier to review and share our ideas. The standard English
punctuation is as follows: period, comma, apostrophe, quotation, question, exclamation,
brackets, braces, parenthesis, dash, hyphen, ellipsis, colon, semicolon. let me give you an
example: This morning I heard the dog across the street barking again. As you can see here I use
the right punctuation Mark which is the period because period is used to end all sentences except
those that are direct questions or exclamations. Periods are also used in abbreviations.
BUT BEFORE WE CONTINUE LETS HAVE A LITTLE TRIVIA STAY TUNED!!!!
;p
ok now let's talk about GRAMMAR. grammar, rules of a language governing the sounds, words,
sentences, and other elements, as well as their combination and interpretation. The word
grammar also denotes the study of these abstract features or a book presenting these rules in
addition Grammar explains the forms and structure of words (called morphology) and how they
are arranged in sentences (called syntax). In other words, grammar provides the rules for
common use of both spoken and written language so we can more easily understand each other
but what do you think is the importance of grammar? Grammar is a set of rules that dictates how
a language works, making it easy to comprehend. Without proper grammar, one would have no
idea how to speak or write in English. It helps us make sense of our words. It also dictates rules
regarding how words are used and when they should be used.

now let's move to the final word SPELLING. What is spelling? Spelling is the ability to arrange
letters in the correct order to make words that are communally understood. Spelling is considered
one aspect of literacy Why is spelling important in writing? because Spelling is a complex skill
and an important part of writing. Good spelling is also a social expectation and contributes to
clear communication of a written message. and now to all abm students out there I hope you
