Terms and Conditions *

- "Unrated Tournament", latest FIDE Rules in force shall apply & the Swiss system will be
followed.
- Rating consideration: Classical
- Time Control: Rapid: 15 Min. +5 Sec. Inc. From 1st Move
- Rounds: 8
- Tie breaks: Buchholz Cut 1, Buchholz,Sonneborn–Berger, Direct Encounter.
- Last date of entry: 11.59 pm 29 December 2023.
- Limit 450 participants.
- No Spot Entries.
- Identity check will be performed prior to the tournament. Registration Name and Date of Birth
must match that with the ID proof - where they differ you will be denied entry into the
tournament.
- You consent to capture your photograph and videos for publishing and promotions on social
media's platforms.
- Indian Income Tax Act and Rules will be applicable.
- Any types of electronic devices/wristwatches will not be allowed in the playing arena.
- Before the commencement of the tournament, an appeals committee will be formed and the
committee decisions will be final and binding.
- Cash prizes will not be shared. One player will get one higher Cash prize only.
- Food & Refreshments will be available in the campus at a nominal cost.
- A player may withdraw at any stage of the event, after informing the chief arbiter in writing.
- Participants to arrange all basic necessities (food, transportation, accommodation etc) to the
tournament. Food & Refreshments will be available in the stadium for sale.
- Cancellation policy - non refundable.
- Premier Chess Academy reserve the right to reject any entries & hold the right the cancel the
event anytime.
- Walkover time: 10 Minutes
- E-Certificates will be provided to all the players.
- All the players are required to mandatorily adhere the Covid protocol issued by Government of
India.
- Venue: Beith Convention Center, TRA-2, TOG Rd, South Kalamassery, Kochi, Kerala 683104.
- Due to any unforeseen circumstances, if the event is cancelled or postponed Premier Chess
Academy obligation is limited to refunding the entry fees paid by the players.
