Letter to mother about Clubs of your school

Examination Hall,

New City Phase, II,

Wah Cantt.

20th May, 2023/ May 30, 2023

Dear Mother,

I hope my letter finds you in the best of health. In your last letter, you asked me about the club
activities of my school.

We have many clubs that include art, cooking, spelling bee, sports, computer, and Islamic club. Each club
has a period every week in which we do many activates. I have join spelling bee and the sports club. In
spelling bee club, we play outdoor games with rules and regulations. It develops a sense of corporation
and team work. It prepares us for inter school sports competition. In spelling bee club, we are provided
with word lists and we have to learn the correct spellings of a word. If we know the meaning, part of
speech, and use in sentence, it becomes easier for us to know the exact words.

Both the clubs have helped me physically and mentally. I have become more active and confident. I enjoy
being part of these clubs and wish I could join other clubs too.

Pay my regards to everyone at home.

Yours truly,

XYZ

Subject: Requesting for Maintenance of Roads in your locality

Respected Sir,

This is to draw your attention towards the poor condition of roads in my locality. Due to heavy
traffic and constant rain the roads have developed ditches and have become bumpy. The drain lines
along the road are not cleaned and puddles form on the roadside. The footpath is missing. It has become
difficult for pedestrians and drivers to walk and drive safely on the road. Many accidents are taking place
because of the poor road condition.

I request you to repair the roads on priority bases. So, the residents of the locality are taken out of this
ordeal.

Yours truly,
