GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
1. SCOPE OF WORK
The work contemplated under this consists of furnishing all necessary materials needed for this project, and the satisfactory performance of all
work for the complete construction Three Bedroom Bungalow w/ roof Deck. Ready for use and legal occupancy.
All works specified under various sections of the specifications shall be subject to the general conditions.

2. QUALITY OF MATERIALS
All materials shall be new and of the best grade. As to any details or description that only the best general practice is to prevail and that only the materials
and workmanship of first class quality are to be used.
3. SITEWORK
Excavation – it is required to perform all excavations, regardless of the character of materials within the limits of the work, correct to the specified
lines and grades.
Filling and Grading – scarify and thoroughly wet surface to receive fill to ensure bond between grounds and filling materials. Promptly backfill
excavation as works permits but not before concrete walls, footings or piers have attained full design strength.
Compacting – evenly spread fill in horizontal layers of 150mm. Thick and each layer watered and compacted.
4. CONCRETE
1. GENERAL
The work under this section shall include the reinforced concrete works of all the structural elements from foundation to the roof beam.
2. MATERIAL
Concrete – mix design shall conform to AC 211.1 and ACI 301. The minimum 28-day compressive strength shall be fe = 3,000 psi;
Columns, Beams, Slabs, Footings.
Cement – shall conform to the requirements of “Specifications for Portland Cement” (ASTM C150, latest edition)
Concrete Aggregates – the aggregate shall be graded from fine to coarse. Use ¾” inches size aggregates in almost all application.
Water – shall be clean and free from injurious amounts of oils, acids, alkalis, salts, organic materials or other substances deleterious
to concrete or steel.
Reinforcing Bars – all main bars shall be deformed conforming to ASTM A615-68. The minimum Yield Strength Fy – 33,000 psi.
5. FORMWORKS
Materials – use H-frame, 2x2, 2x3, 2x4 good lumber and cwn nails (1, 2, 3, 4 inch) as Scaffolds @ standard distances for beams, slabs and
columns (well plumb).
6. MASONRY WORKS
Materials – use 4”, 5” & 6” inches thick size as indicated in the plans.
Reinforcing Bars – unless otherwise specified, the vertical and horizontal reinforcements for
CHB shall be 10mm diameter at 400 all wall thickness. Lap slices shall be 300mm long (min)
Materials - use ¼” fiber cement board with 19mm x 25 mm and 19mm x 50mm .40mm thk. Metal furrings for ceiling.
-use Analok for awning & sliding windows with ¼ “thk. Glass

Use 2"X6" TANGUILE WOOD W/ 2"X4" TANGUILE WOOD WEB MEMBER FOR TRUSSES & RAFTERS

Use long span rib –type # 26 roofing sheet
