Authorised Gas Tester Level 3

The training will deepen the knowledge of gas testers involved in providing
safety watch duties by the ongoing monitoring of a hot work site. It covers
all relevant information on flammable gases focusing on the principles and
practice of gas testing during hot work.

Basic Information

Learning objectives
To provide those personnel preparing for a gas tester role with the knowledge to safely conduct ongoing
monitoring for flammable gases. In addition, this programme also equips the delegates with the knowledge
necessary to conduct ongoing monitoring of flammable gases of a hot work site. Delegates will also learn
about relevant legislative requirements, gas measuring and monitoring equipment and documenting gas test
results.
