Preface
This manual is prepared by the engineers of SAIPA automotive manufacturing group to help
the engineers and technicians of the SAIPA 141 vehicle.
It is recommended that the repairmen and technicians carefully study this book and follow
its repair instructions. By doing so, the time will be saved and the quality of repairing will be
increased.
Finally, it is requested from all the readers to kindly submit their invaluable comments about
this book to the management of SAIPAYADAK company engineering department. (The com-
ment form is at the end of the manual)

Patching cord
This wire is used as testing wire, in short
circuit and body conjunction.
Voltmeter:
The DC voltmeter is used for measur-
ing the circuit voltage and is about 15V or
more. Connect the positive connection (red Voltmeter
wire) to the voltage measuring point, and
the negative connection (black wire) to the
body. Black wire
Ohm-meter
This device is used for measuring the re-
sistance between two points of circuit, and
also is used for checking the circuit discon-
nection.

You can unlock the padlock by making
force on the tab. Pay attention not to pull
the rubber and hold the rubber for discon-
necting.

Flasher inspection
1- Connect the positive terminal of the bat-
tery to the positive terminal of the flasher
and its negative terminal to the vehicle
body.
2- Be careful when connecting terminal L to
the body two parallel lamps should be on.
Inspection method
Use an ohm-meter to check the proper
function of switch terminal connections, ac-
cording to the figure.
According to the standard specifications,
replace the switch in the case of discon-
nection.

Inspection
1- Make sure that the fuses are installed
properly and are not loose.
2- Ensure that each fuse current is as the
specified ampere.
3- Check for the blown fuses. Inspect the
blown fuse cause, and replace it after trou-
bleshooting.
Caution
Do not use a fuse with a capacity higher
than that specified.
Fuses inspection
There are two reasons for the fuse blowing.
After taking off the blown fuse, a simple ap-
parent inspection can show the cause.
1- Blowing fuse due to the excessive cur-
rent: In this case, check the circuit for the
possible short circuit and for the electrical
components malfunction, then after trou-
bleshooting and replacement of the defect-
ed parts; replace the fuse with the specified
ampere.
1: The fuse blown due to the excessive cur-
rent.
Caution
The allowable current in ampere for the
fuses is printed as a number on them. If
the fuse is blown, replace it with the same
capacity.
Do not use a fuse with a higher capacity
than that specified. This can damage oth-
er electrical compo¬nents and can even
cause fire.
Replacing fuse
To remove or replace the fuses, use the
special caliper stored in the fuse box.

Attention
For inspecting the fuel grade inside the
tank, you have to separate it from the tank.
The formation of separating the
grade inside tank
1- Open the cap.
2- Disconnect the grade inside the tank.
3- Cut off the grade inside the tank with
specified instrument.
Warning
Pay attention not to approximate cigarette,
fire and candle while working on the tank.

Water probe
1- Open the robe.
2- Put the probe in a dish of water and
warm up the water up to 80 centigrade.
3- Use an ohmmeter, as shown in the fig-
ure, to check the good work of the probe.
Resistance: 49.3-57.7Ω
Dynamo light
1- Start the engine and connect the BR
wire to the vehicle body.
2- Pay attention that dynamo light turns on.
3- Check the lamp and dynamo wire, if the
light doesn’t turn on, and repair or replace
them.

Inspection
Inspection
To prevent rear window heater elements from damaging, connect a tin foil to the volt-
meter probes end.
1- Press down the foil by the finger and move it on the element direction to check the
disconnection in the circuit of the heater element.
1: Finger press
2: Voltmeter probe
3: Tin foil
4: Heater elements
Attention
In 20 degree centigrade temperature, the
heater mask needs 24hour to be dry. If you
use a dryer for drying it, it will be dry after
30 minutes. (With 60 degrees centigrade)
Caution
A: do not use the rear window defogger un-
til it is completely dry.
B: do not use gasoline or similar solvents
for cleaning the damaged parts.
C: After repairing, wipe up the glass with a
soft and dry towel along the elements.
Adjustment
Disconnect the horn and adjust its volume
as desired using the adjusting screw. Turn-
ing the screw clock-wise lowers the volume
and counter-clock-wise increases the vol-
ume.
Horn compressive
1- Check the horn connection display and
steering wheel while you are pressing the
horn compressive.

Adjustments
1- Put the wipers’ arms on their pivots and
tighten their nuts.
Note: Do not operate the windshield wip-
ers when the windshield is dry.
2- Install the nut cap and check the arms
motion on the windshield.
3-The wiper arm at the right hand side of
the driver must stop at the 25mm height
from the windshield lower edge and at the
same height for the left hand side wiper
arm.
Washer assembly
Inspection
1- Connect the washer pump motor to the
washer tank and fill it with water.
2- Connect the positive battery terminal to
the WIG terminal and the negative to the E
terminal. Then check the washer pump mo-
tor for the fluid spray from its nozzle.
3- Check the washer pump motor for its
proper function.
Clock:
Digital clock wiring circuit
1- connect 12V power to terminal (b) and
body to terminal (a). Make sure that the
clock turns ON.
2- connect 12V power to terminal (c) and
body to (a).
Make sure that the instrument panel light
turns ON.
Note: Be careful that the body and power
connect to the proper terminals.
