4) Soft tissue injuries.

Improper manipulation of instruments (e.g., slippage of elevator)

during the removal of teeth. The areas most often injured are the
cheeks, the floor of the mouth, the palate, and the retromolar area.

Treatment:
Small and localised : No treatment.
When the injury is large and there is hemorrhage, the surgical
procedure must be postponed and control the bleeding.
