I had this book for over 7 years but I struggled going past the first page until Agaba

brought
this challenge. In fact, I have read it more than once and regretted why I had not pushed
myself to read it.If I knew what I read this month then, I would be progressing.

Book review: Who moved my Cheese?

Dr. Spencer Johnson wrote Who moved my cheese. He also wrote the One-minute manager.
This book prepares you for change without trying with so much energy.

The book analyses lives of former classmates who had gone through life and took time to
reflect at a reunion. They use a story of four fictions characters and their relationship with
cheese. The Mice are Sniff and scurry. The little people who are Hem and Haw. The four
characters had access to cheese in particular sections of the maze. The Mice woke up one day
and the cheese was no more. They kept on looking elsewhere for new cheese while the little
men enjoyed their comfort with cheese. Characters ran through a maze looking for Cheese to
nourish them and make them happy .Little people, Hem and Haw used their complex brains
with many beliefs and emotions.

The author uses the story of cheese to communicate how change happens and how some
people react to the changes after they have happened. Some grow, while others remain in the
same position.
The book motivates, informs and fires you up to do more to get out of your comfort Zone.
Only date people who have read the book. I will never ask you to eat your shoes but it is a
book everyone must read to improve their character, attitude and productivity.

The Author cautions against one hit wonder syndrome. He believes anyone can achieve a
new thing every day. Little men, Hem and Haw regarded the Cheese
they found at Cheese Statio n C as their cheese. It was
such a large store of Cheese that they eventually moved
their homes to be closer to it, and built a social life
around it.One morning they arrived at the Cheese section and cheese was no more.
Little man Haw and Mice are the only people who welcomed change and grew. Maze is a
symbol of life.it is always predictable. Have the same vibes of more Book teaches us to be
flexible, open-minded and jump fears.

My take away message is I like the idea of letting go of old

behaviour instead of letting go of the relationship. Repeating the
same behaviour will just get you the same results.
