What is the role of visual arts in society?

- Visual art is a fundamental component of human experience reflecting
the world and the time in which we live. Art can help us understand our history, our culture, our
lives, and the experience of others in a manner that cannot be achieved through other means.

How does visual arts influence consumer behavior in marketing?

- As an art, marketing is all about understanding the nuances of human
behavior and determining how to make an emotional connection with the customer. More
importantly, some level of art is needed to create brand standards for your company, including
the logo, messaging, and overall visual identity for a brand.

Is it ethical to use art for commercial purposes?

- Yes, Commercial art is art that is created for commercial purposes to promote services,
products, and ideas to viewers. In the process of creating commercial art, an audience is taken
into consideration when designing and/or forming the goods that are being advertised/promoted.

How can artists use their work to promote social or political messages?
- Artists use their drawings to display important moments in society and politics through
satire, allegory and symbolism in mediums such as cartoons and caricatures. They can use these
images to illuminate their own political and social views, the views of the masses, or poke fun at
politicians or even whole communities.

Should art be valued solely on its aesthetic, or should the social and cultural
context of the work also be considered?
- Works of art don't have to be beautiful, but we must acknowledge that aesthetic
Judgment plays a large part in the reception of art. Beauty might not be an objective quality in
the work of art, nor is it a rational way for us to argue for the cultural importance of an object.
