1 Introduction

1.1 Welcome
It is a pleasure for FLS Automation, Customer Services to present this new edition of
the customer training programme. We have enclosed a wide range of different
courses; 35 in total - in order to cover the products and applications delivered by FLS
Automation.
The courses are offered in basic and advanced modules when relevant in order to
satisfy the different knowledge level requirements. However, we also offer to develop
specific courses for you.
We hope you will enjoy studying the programme and find courses supporting your
training needs.

1.2 Objective
The purpose of FLS Automation Training is to provide you with the benefit of profes-
sional training, based on FLS Automation's experience in the design, delivery and
commissioning of plant automation systems worldwide over many years.
Regular training and updating of knowledge will improve the profit you obtain from
investment in equipment and software from FLS Automation. The company has
highly qualified specialists who are ready to pass on their knowledge of modern
automation and process control systems.
The money spent on training courses is well spent, resulting in major improvements
in productivity and performance measurable on the bottom line.
This material gives you the opportunity to see the number of technical training
courses we can provide.

1.3 Tailored or standard; on site or here

The FLS Automation Training courses can be obtained in 3 ways:
Training courses on site in connection with commissioning or later.
Training courses at FLS Automation's facilities in Copenhagen.
Training courses at the location of the manufacturer in Central Europe.
Most courses are available both in Copenhagen and on site.
Some courses have a pre-defined form and duration, whereas special courses or
packages can be arranged on request to meet your specific requirements. If you
have other needs than described, FLS Automation will be pleased to cooperate with
you in developing and implementing special training courses and/or seminars.
We recommend that groups participate in training courses at FLS Automation on the
equipment to be supplied just before shipment, as well as on site after installation of
the equipment. Training at FLS Automation premises on later occasions also gives
the opportunity to concentrate on dedicated training without disturbance from daily
plant work.
