I. Vision
The College Department of the Luna Colleges (B.Sec.Ed) shall reflect the institution’s vision of fostering, sustainable growth and development in instruction, research, extension and

II. Mission
The College Department of the Luna Colleges shall provided quality education to prepare future teacher/students in the world of the teaching profession through outcomes-based, research-
based teaching strategies that respond to the ever-changing and challenging times.
III. Goals and Objectives
 Produce graduates who expected to be life-long learners, caring trustworthy citizens effective communicators, competent and productive professionals in the field of teaching.
 Prepare students for a life career through creative and innovative research activities that pave a wider and long lasting perspective on their culture and natural identity.
IV. Course Description
 This subject “Understanding the self, is one the core courses under the New General Education Curriculum (CMO 20 S. 2013). It deals with the nature of self, as well as factors that
affect the development and maintenance of personal identity. Student who purse BSec.Ed will be provided with opportunities to know themselves and help facilities that will promote
batter learning, generation new. Better appreciation of the learning process and developing in them a mor critical and reflective attitude while enabling them to mange and improve
themselves to attain a better quality of life.
