    A RESOLUTION PROPOSING A MENTAL HEALTH BREAK TO


    STUDENTS OF ALL DEPARTMENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF SAN
    AGUSTIN FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-2024

    WHEREAS, the USA Student Government is the highest student government organ in the
    University of San Agustin;

    WHEREAS, the mental health break promotes the importance of self-care, teaching students to
    prioritize their mental and emotional health;

    WHEREAS, the students are provided with an opportunity to engage in activities that develop
    their well-being, whether it's spending time with friends and family, pursuing hobbies,
    exercising, or simply a wellness break;

    WHEREAS, to commemorate the global mental health awareness month;

    WHEREAS, to attain the areas of the objectives are as follows:

    1. Academic Pressure
    2. Improved Focus and Productivity
    3. Emotional Well-being
    4. Promoting Balance
    5. Building Resilience

    WHEREAS, under Article IX, section 2, directs the senate to exercise legislative powers to
    formulate policies, draft resolutions, and other legal proceedings pertinent to the USA Student
    Government;

    WHEREAS, the said break will be held in the month of October 2023 of the 30th day to the
    month of November 2023 of the 4th day.

    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved that the USA National


    Student Government Senate concurs that A RESOLUTION PROPOSING A MENTAL
    HEALTH BREAK TO STUDENTS OF ALL DEPARTMENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF
    SAN AGUSTIN FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023-2024, be approved.

    DONE in the University of San Agustin Iloilo City, this 18th day of October, Two thousand and
    twenty-three.
