Designing Practical Tasks for Demonstration with Oral Questioning

After completing the evidence gathering plan for a given unit of competence, prepare the evidence gathering plan for each
assessment method.
The example below is based on the Competency Standards for the Qualification Administrative Assistant Level 2:

Step 1. Separate the Evidence Gathering Plan for the method Demonstration with Oral Questioning only

Step 2. Now design the tasks as performed in the work place. Make the task as similar to work place as possible.

Step 3. Write the questions that can be asked after the demonstration.

This matrix will ensure that the evidences to be gathered are based on the evidence requirements. This will also increase your
confidence as a designer that the evidences that will be collected follows the first 2 rules of evidence: valid and sufficient. You can
write as many questions aligned with the tasks.

Step 4. Follow the recommended type of questions. Extension, safety, and contingency questions.

After completing all tasks and making sure that all evidence requirements were considered, transfer these tasks into the form called
