Assignment Brief and Guidance

Scenario
You are to develop a fine art portfolio exploring a concept of your choosing. This portfolio should
be evaluated and constructed gradually with the progression of course content and one’s creative
practice.

Task
Produce a portfolio consisting of a final collection with its statement and the sketchbook practice.
(A pdf document)

The sketchbook should consist a minimum amount of works from the compulsory areas as
mentioned below.

 15 still life drawings


 5 perspective drawings
 3 colour theory related works
 50 gestures
 10 characters sketches
 3 concept notes

The final collection consisting a minimum of 3 works, should be developed under one's concept
(A3 size. Scanned.)

The statement should be in the format of constructive criticism with a minimum of 500 words.

Previously evaluated sketchbook practice should reflect the conceptual and technical development
