Banker - As a Trade Officer (Export), 2021- Present

Around three years of Experience in Export department related to “Letter of Credit” in HabibMetropolitan Bank subsidiary of AG ZURICH
as a Trade Officer.
· Lodgment of all export documents (against L/C) in hPLUS and recovery of charges.
· To ensure prior to lodgment that the documents are complete and in order and that the GD is verified.
· Detachment of L/C documents for dispatch to Collecting Bank, retaining office copy (copy of shipping documents, Form E GD, etc.).
· To endorse the original L/C and maintain proper record of all the L/Cs.
· Preparation of Covering Schedule according to nature of document and as per regulatory guidelines.
· Timely dispatch of export L/C documents to Issuing Bank and marking the same in PLUS.
· To make optimum efforts to ensure accuracy in entries to avoid audit objections and discrepancies.
· To ensure that no queries related to his/her assigned responsibilities are left unresolved/unattended.
· To report any dubious / suspicious transactions to the Unit Head.
· Effective scrutiny of the documents of Letter of Credit ensuring compliance with the parameters and guidelines of UCP 600.
· To conduct follow up with branches for the rectification of discrepancies in documents.
· To perform any other special task/assignment by the unit Head/ Head of centralized Exports.
