No. Step description Note

1 Starting point:
UPS in Normal Operation with load connected; External battery switch closed;
Connect the DC current clamp to the battery line;
Connect your notebook to the service port X9 and start PPVis Rev.2;
2 Select page : [7] “DIC1 Calibration“
3 Set “Access Level” to “Expert”: “PNU 51=3”;
4 Open Q3 in order to switch the unit on battery mode;
5 Read PNU 23.1 “Battery Charging/Discharging Current”;

6 Set PNU 731.13 in order to align the value “Battery current” on “Status Display PPVis” to
the measure read on the DC Current clamp

7 Let the batteries discharge, because you need the Charger in Current Limit when you will
close Q3;
8 Close Q3;
9 Set PNU 731.10 in order to align the measure read on the DC Current clamp 10% of AH
capacity.

10 Set “Access Level” back to “Normal Operation” (PNU 51=1). Restart the unit.
11 Procedure completed.
