The gardens and castle in Kroměříž are a well-preserved example of a European Baroque residence

Flower Garden. The monumental baroque castle has richly decorated interiors and contains valuable

The original folk buildings in the historic village of Holašovice date from the 18th and 19th centuries
and were built in the style known as "South Bohemian folk baroque". They preserve the floor plan,
the origin of which can only be found in the Middle Ages. The village is located in the South
Bohemian Region, about 17 km west of České Budějovice and 24 km north of Český Krumlov.

The memorial column, built at the beginning of the 18th century in the regional style known as
"Olomouk Baroque", is 35 m high and decorated with fine religious sculptures by the prominent
Moravian artist Ondřej Zahner. It stands in the middle of the historic center of Olomouc. It has a high
symbolic value. It represents the religious devotion and sense of pride of the local population.

The footpath connects three historical monuments and reminds of the centuries-long coexistence of
the Christian and Jewish communities. Basilica of St. Prokop was built as part of a Benedictine
monastery in the Romanesque style with Gothic elements and ranks among the jewels of European
architecture. It is located in close proximity to the Třebíč Castle and the Museum of the Highlands.
The Benedictine herb garden extends in the rear. The Jewish cemetery is one of the largest and best
preserved in Central Europe. The Jewish quarter then recalls the rich history of the local Jewish
community.
