Planning
I had to start planning about
what type of stickers I wanted
to make. And I wanted to make
my favorite car brands which
are ford and corvette. After
picking the stickers I want to
make I put them in a USB.

Inkscape and
Graphtec carve
program
• After planning I opened up Inkscape and put
in my logos from the USB. It was my first
time using this program and doing this
project, so I asked for a lot of help and
watched videos as I went on. Then I
exported those images from Inkscape to
Graphtec. Then after exporting the images
in Graphtec, I traced them. Then plugged in
the USB and hit send job to CE6000-60 Vinyl
Cutter. This process was a tough task for me
because sometimes it was hard to save images
in the USB or I made a lot of mistakes such as
adjusting the size of the image in Inkscape.

Using the vinyl

cutter
Next part was to turn on the vinyl cutter and
adjust the three wheels and the cutter head. Then
I picked my orange sticker type vinyl and hit start.
It was going all good and I hit continue 2 times.
After I hit continue the second time it was still in
the process and suddenly my vinyl paper just fell
out. So, I only had good 2 logos and the other
ones messed up which means I wasted a lot of
vinyl paper. After the vinyl paper fell out, so I
decided to move to the next step.

Using the Cricut

It was my option depending on if I
want to peel the orange parts off or
the black parts off with the Cricut. I
chose the black parts because I
wanted the orange parts to stand out.
So, I used the Cricut's to peel them
off. This process was very easy I just
asked people for advice as this was
my first time. Then I understood and
finished this part up.

Inserting packing
tape
After using the Cricut I inserted
tape to the side of the logo. I had
to insert the tape properly
because this is an important
part.

Using the squeegee

• After inserting packing tape, I used a
squeegee to press against the tape and
the logo. I did it quite aggressively so that
the tape will attach properly to the logo.
Then I peeled the tape off. After I peeled
the back part off the sticker. And put it on
with the other stickers. After used a
squeegee again to make sure there are no
air bubbles.
