Update Instructions for video driver

[Precaution]
Before updating the driver, you should
- Log in as the administrator account.
- Terminate virus protection program and alike. (Restart them after finishing updating
Video driver.)
- Connect AC Adaptor and fully charged battery.
- Disconnect networks (wired and wireless). (Except when you download the program.)
- Disconnect all peripheral equipments.
- Terminate all programs other than the program for updating Video driver.

[Summary of installation procedure]


1. Confirm the version of video driver
2. Download and extract the program for updating video driver
3. Uninstall old video driver
4. Install new video driver

KEEP THESE STEPS STRICTLY, OR MALFUNCTION MAY BE CAUSED.

[Procedure]
1. Confirm the version of video driver
(1) Click [Start]-[Computer].
(2) Click [System properties].
(3) Click [Device Manager].
(4) Double click [Display adapters].
(5) Double click [Intel(R) HD Graphics …].
(6) Select [Driver] tab, and check "Driver Version".
If the version of the driver is "10.18.10.4885" or later, the driver has already been
updated. You don't need to execute the following steps.
If the version of the driver is older than "10.18.10.4885", please execute the
following steps.

2. Download and extract the program for updating video driver


(1) Download the program for updating video driver.
(For 32bit OS) "video_10.18.10.4885_32.exe"
(For 64bit OS) "video_10.18.10.4885_64.exe"
(2) Double click the downloaded program.
(3) Click [Yes] if "User Account Control" window appears.
(4) Read the "License Agreement", and click [Yes].
(5) Confirm the destination folder and click [OK]. Default destination folder is as follows.
(For 32bit OS) "c:\util2\drivers\video4885_32"
(For 64bit OS) "c:\util2\drivers\video4885_64"
(6) Wait until files are extracted. The folder in which update files are extracted will be
automatically opened on completion. It may take more than 1 minute until the folder
appears.

3. Uninstall old video driver


(1) Click [Start]-[Control Panel]-[Uninstall a program].
(2) Select "Intel® Graphics Driver" and click [Uninstall]. Click [Yes] if "User Account
Control" window appears.
(3) "Intel® Graphics Driver – Welcome to the Uninstallation Program" window appears.
Click [Next].
(4) "Intel® Graphics Driver – Uninstallation Progress" window appears. Wait until the
message "Click Next to continue." appears at the bottom left, and click [Next].
(5) "Intel® Graphics Driver – Uninstallation Is Complete" window appears. Click
[Finish] to restart the computer.

4. Install new video driver


(1) Open the folder in which update files are extracted. Default folder is as follows.
(For 32bit OS) "c:\util2\drivers\video4885_32.exe"
(For 64bit OS) "c:\util2\drivers\video4885_64.exe"
(2) Right click or touch and hold [Pinstall.bat] and click [Run as administrator].
(3) Click [Yes] if "User Account Control" window appears.
(4) Wait until "C:\windows\System32\cmd.exe" window disappears. It may take more
than several minutes until the window disappears.
(5) Restart the computer.
(6) Confirm the version of video driver is "10.18.10.4885", with the same procedure as
step1.
