ahead

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T1J~2009.

This standard replaces GB/T1591_2008 "low alloy high strength structural steel".
Compared with GB/T1591 a 2008, in addition to editorial changes, the main technical
changes are as follows=
_ It is clarified that the chemical composition of this standard also applies to billets (see
chapter l, 2008 edition, chapter 1).
I - The definitions of the terms "thermomechanical rolling" and "normalizing rolling" are
amended and the terms "hot rolling" and "normalizing" are added. Definitions of the terms
"hot rolling" and "normalizing" have been added (see Chapter 3, 2008 Edition, Chapter 3).
I Modified the method of expressing grades
(see chapter 4, 2008 edition, chapter 4);
added the content of ordering (see
chapter 5).
Requirements for dimensions, shape, weight and permissible deviations are specified (see
chapter 6, chapter 5 of the 2008 edition).
"Replacement of Q345 steel grade by Q355 steel grade and related requirements (see chapter
7, 9.2, chapter 6, 8.2 of the 2008 edition).
The chemical composition of each grade is specified according to different
delivery states, and the content of grain refining elements is modified (see 7.1,
2008 version of 6J), the mechanical properties of each grade are specified according
to different delivery states, and the lower yield strength is modified to the upper yield
strength, and the indexes are correspondingly increased by 10 MPa~15 MPa (see 7.4.1,
7.4-2, 2008 version of 6.4.1, 6′4.2〉. The upper yield strength is increased by 10 MPa~15
MPa accordingly (see 7.4.1, 7.4-2, 6.4.1, 6.4.2 of 2008 edition).
Refined requirements for surface quality of steel (see 7 .5, 2008 version 6.5).
(a) The test methods and test rules have been amended to clarify the sampling sites
for impact tests (see chapters 8 and 9, chapters 7 and 8 of the 2008 edition).
Increased the standard grade and foreign standard grade comparison table (see Appendix
A).
This standard is proposed by the China Iron and Steel Industry Association.
This standard is under the purview of the National Steel Standardization Technical Committee
(SAC/TC 183).
Drafting unit of this standard = Anshan Iron and Steel Company Limited ` Metallurgical
Industry Information Standard Research Institute, Shougang Corporation, Hegang Company
Limited Tangshan Branch, Xiwang Special Steel Company Limited, Shandong Iron and Steel
Company Limited Laiwu Branch ` Sugangou Zhongmodel Steel New Material Company

3.1
Hot Rolling as-rolled;AR§jt WAR
The copper is not rolled and/or heat treated in any special way.
3.2
normalized normalized
N
The steel is heated to a temperature above the high phase-change point temperature of aya-
permeability, and then cooled to a low phase-change point temperature of a thousand in an air-
complete heat.
Going to the polytechnic to beg
3.3
Normalizing rolling normalizing rolling
+N
Final deformation is the rolling process in which the steel is rolled at a temperature
within the rolling process to bring the steel back to a normalized condition so that it can be
rolled to the specified mechanical property debt even after normalizing. The fol owing are some examples of the rolling process
Note: Counter rolling is also called "controlled rolling" in some publications.
3.4
thermomechanical processed
M
The final deformation of auxiliary materials in a certain temperature cocoon in the
escape of the rolling process 'so as to ensure that the performance of the hot plate material
to get through the described heat to the rationale of the original method to get.
Note ー= Heat molding or post-drying heat treatment at temperatures above 580 C that may reduce the strength of the
vehicle i s not recommended. According to Sagami's rules of technology, it is advisable to use a fire-branding
process.
It's Yoon Pestle Shelter.
Note 2g: Mechanical rolling may include tempering or meta-tempering in which the cooling rate is
increased. 'Tempering includes self-tempering but excludes ripening and tempering plus
tempering.
3: Also known as TMCP (Thermomechanical Control Tsuji Program), and in some publications as "Kneading and
Rolling System".

4 Marking Methods

4J The grade consists of the initial letter Q for yield strength, the required minimum yield
strength, the delivery code, and the transaction symbols (B, C, D, E, F).
Note ー: The code AR or WAR can be omitted in the case of hot rolled spindle; Normalized or
Normalized rolled spindle is used in the case of "N" in the case of "D e l i v e r y spindle".
Note 2: Q10 is the minimum upper yield strength requirement, the minimum yellowish window designation is "
銅扱".
Example= Q355ND" where g
~ The initial letter of the word "yield" for yield
strength is "単位ヵ兆帖(MPa)", and the minimum
yield strength of 355 is "単位ヵ兆帖(MPa)".
_ N - Delivery Service - Normalized or Normalized Rolled.
扱D扱扱ヵD扱"
4.2 When the demand side requires the plate to have thickness-direction performance, add
the transaction of thickness-direction (Z-direction) after the above specified grades.

9 Inspection rules

9.1 Inspection and acceptance

Inspection and acceptance of the steel is carried out by the technical supervisory department of the
supplier.
9.2

9.2.1 Steel shall be accepted in batches. Each batch shall consist of steel of the same grade, the same furnace
number, the same specification, the same delivery status, and each batch shall be weighted at a rate of
1,000 pounds.
Volume should not be greater than 60 t, but the coil is heavier than 30 t of steel strip and
continuous rolled plate can be two rolled rolls to form a batch; the volume is greater than
200 t converter smelting steel, each batch of weight is not greater than 80 t. After the supply
and demand sides to negotiate, can be inspected in two batches per furnace.
9.2.2 Q355B grade steel allows the same grade, the same smelting and casting method, the same
specification, the same production process system, the same delivery status
Or the same heat treatment system, different furnace number steel mixed batch, but each batch
shall not be more than 6 furnace number, and the difference between the carbon content of the
furnace number is not more than 002%, the difference between the Mn content is not
greater than 015%.
9.2.3 For the requirements of the thickness of the mechanical properties of the steel test direction, the
group batch rules should be consistent with the provisions of GB / T 5313.
9.3 Taking Lucky Numbers

The sampling area and number of samples taken from each lot of steel are shown in Table 13.
