1. A total of seven (7) pairs comprising a Barangay Official and Worker shall be competing for the 2023
Nutrition Month Lugaw Cooking Contest. The pairs are as follow:
2. Submission of printed recipes with costing, and video entries must be sent no later than 8:00 am of July
19, 2023, Wednesday to IT Officer Monalyn A. Ulay.
3. Preparation and cooking time shall be based on the contestant’s preference. However, the length of
videos to be submitted must be at least fifteen (15) minutes long, but not to exceed twenty (20) minutes.
One (1) point shall be deducted for every one (1) minute more or less than the allotted time.
4. Recipes must make use of Nutritious Food Ingredients and come up with a LUGAW recipe in line with
this year’s Nutrition Month theme “Healthy Diet Gawing Affordable for All!” which can be served to
eight (8) persons including 12 to 59 months children, pregnant, and lactating women.
5. Recipes must not include any artificial flavoring or seasoning such as Magic Sarap, Ginisa Mix, MSG,
Oyster Sauce, Liquid Seasoning, Knorr Cubes, and the likes.
6. Participants must record and demonstrate how they prepare and cook their chosen lugaw recipe.
7. Submitted videos will be judged individually by judges from the City Health Office and Barangay
Nutrition Committee.
8. Food prepared, cooked and presented shall be coded for judging. Criteria will be as follows:
Nutritional value 30%
Value cost 30%
Originality 20%
Tastiness 10%
Presentation 10%
9. The participant who attained the highest average rating shall be proclaimed winners.
First Place P500.00
Second Place P300.00
Third Place P200.00
Consolation (4) P100.00 each
10. Winners shall be announced at the end of the activity.
11. Decision of the Board of Judges shall be final and irrevocable.
12. All participants must follow minimum health protocols for the whole duration of the program.

1. One contestant, age 2 to 5 years old, and a student of Child Development Center 1&2 will represent
his/her respective purok. A total of nine (9) pupils will be competing for the Day Care Costume and
Dance Contest.

4. Costume and performance shall be coded for judging by judges from the BNC. Criteria will be as
follows:

Audience Impact 20%
5. The participant who attained the highest average rating shall be proclaimed winners.
