PIM：Passive Inter-Modulation.

Mainly caused by:

1、Connectors not accurately tightened to the target torque. RSSI GAP
2、Metal surface oxidized or dirty.

Prevention and Improvement:

Ø Tools and Waterproof
1、Use adjustable torque wrench to tighten all connector.
2、Set the right torque and tighten until hear “click”
Size-22 for 4.3-10 connecters with torque 10N·m；
Size-32 for DIN connecters with torque 25N·m；
3、Waterproof must be qualified also and follow one page
shared previously.

Ø Feeder and Jumper Installation

1、The feeder/jumper must laid neatly, straight and with the same
bending degree, and should not be coiled or twisted.
2、The minimum bending radius :
1) greater than 250 mm for 7/8" feeder
2) greater than 380 mm for 5/4" feeder.
3) greater than 125 mm for 1/2" jumper (including soft jumpers).
3、Both the upper and lower antenna fixing points should bear the
force evenly. During antenna installation process, must install and fix
antenna with downtilt of the antenna is 0°first, then adjust downtilt.

Ø Feeder and Jumper Installation

Within 120° of the antenna radiation direction, there should be no obvious obstacles within 10-20
meters. If there are rust metal and metal mesh, try to remove them first, or relocate them if they
cannot be removed.

Most improtant: Before leave site, Must confrimed with SR that RSSI and PIM test passed!!!
