ASSOCIATED DEGREES
This course introduces students to the agile methodology and how it applies to managing
tasks, products, and teams in organizations. Students will learn about the history of agile, HUMAN CAPITAL ANALYTICS &
tools for implementing agile methods, and the benefits of agile to organizations and TECHNOLOGY
individuals. Topics include (but are not limited to) the history of agile; agile principles; the
psychology of agile; the scrum framework, roles, and teams; sprint planning, execution, and
retrospectives; and the design thinking framework. Students that successfully complete this
course will be able to: understand the fundamentals of the agile methodology; organize
work using agile methods; analyze the costs and benefits of various approaches to work;
and be prepared to join organizations that leverage agile methods.
