Squishy Smiles

Introduction:
Squishy smiles is a popular & fun toy that kids and adults enjoy playing
with. It's known for its unique stretchy and bouncy properties. In this
experiment, we will show you how to make your own squishy smile using
just two common household ingredients. It's a great way to have fun and
learn about some basic science at the same time.

Requirements : 1. White school glue (fevicol)

2. Borox Powder
3. Water
4. Mixing bowl & a stirrer
5. Food colour ( optional)

Activity :
1. Measure out 1/4 cup of fevicol and pour it into
your mixing bowl of water.
2. If you want to add colour to your squishy smile ,
add a few drops of food colour to the fevicol and stir
it.
3. Gradually add borox to the fevicol and stir it
continuously.
4. Once the mixture reaches a dough like
consistency, take it out of the bowl and knead it with
your hands.
5. Continue kneading and stretching it for a few
minutes until smooth and stretchy.
6. Your homemade squishy smile is now ready to play
with. It can stretch & bounce too.

Science:
In this simple experiment, we successfully created
homemade squishy smiles using jus two ingredients:
fevicol and borox. This fun engaging activity not
only allows you to make your own toy but also
introduce you to basic of polymer.
