Descrip on
BLASTBAGTM AERO is the original and best air operated
blast hole plug. The fully patented product allows drill and
blast personnel to improve techniques and save money due
to improved fragmenta on and be er u lisa on of
explosive energy. The BLASTBAGTM AERO is also completely
environmentally sound and safe to operate, only using
compressed air for infla on.

Designed to operate in environments where service air lines

are available, the BLASTBAGTM AERO is ideal for
underground condi ons. The dual bladder construc on and
robust outer protec ve covering ensures leakage never
occurs. The proprietary valve features an annular snap
coupling for fast and easy connec on or disconnec on.

The BLASTBAGTM AERO allows for improved fragmenta on,

a safer final wall, elimina on of explosive wastage, void
management control, protec on of drilled holes and
capping of up holes u lising the charge thru func on.

BLASTBALLTM is a mechanical plugging device used in
underground mining and small diameter holes. The
BLASTBALLTM plug is constructed of a fully herme c bladder
coupled with a patented valve arrangement to ensure
confidence. The outer skin is made using a car tyre-fashioned
reinforced webbing which allows the product to withstand
extreme pressures. The BLASTBALLTM provides improved

BLASTSHIELDTM PLUS has been specifically designed as an ultra-
high strength barrier material for blast holes in waterlogged or
wet condi ons and/or where cracks and voids occur.
BLASTSHIELDTM PLUS can also be u lized in condi ons where a
fully decoupled charge is required. BLASTSHIELDTM PLUS is a
high tensile material with an internal lamina on to prevent
water ingress and protect explosives from degrada on and

The MTi Group MULTIFIT 150G SPIDER is an
underground spider suited to holding different boosters
in any hole diameter from 64 mm – 115 mm.

The MULTIFIT 150G SPIDER is designed to load the

booster ‘shotgun’ style. Once inside, the booster and
wire are simple to install in any type of hole.

The spider designed to keep the booster in posi on and

completely centralised in the explosive column. The
spider features a plas c housing that keeps the booster
from being damaged, and ensures the wire is protected.

Descrip on
The MTi Group’s 250G PRIMER SPIDER is an
underground spider suited to holding 250g cylinder
type boosters in blast holes from 64mm – 115mm
diameter. The Spider is designed to both securely
hold and centralise the booster and detonator
combina on while protec ng the ini a on cord from
damage that could result in leakage or a misfire. The
spider is designed to simplify the process of installing
the primed boosters while being strong enough to
posi on the charge in the correct posi on without it
moving during explosives loading. The base is
designed to fit securely on the end of a charge hose.

Descrip on
MiTiPLUG is a mechanical plugging device used in
underground mining to prevent emulsions and ANFO
from slumping or falling out from up holes. The device
is made from a semi rigid polymer. The product is
resistant to the chemicals in emulsions and ANFO. This
plug was recently improved and now features a higher
holding capacity, improved downline protec on as well
as a be er sea ng mechanism for the ANFO hose.

Descrip on
The MTi Group ROCKRIVET is a reten on plug for
use in both underground and open pit mines. It
works using fric on and interference generated by
the plas c fins in the ROCKRIVET to hold onto the
wall of the hole. The fins are designed to close like a
collet giving maximum holding capacity with
minimal leaking. The design also incorporates
spaces for a downline or firing line to pass through,
preven ng the likelihood of cut-offs or misfires.
